Could you imagine this nightmare scenario?

Pats v Cowboys in the Super Bowl.

Pats win...Brady and Belichick have five.

Cowboys win...Cowboys win their sixth.

That Witten play was the best thing that could have happened to us. He was stood up...time was ticking down...and then he goes and does that...for no reason.

And just after we caught a break with the ref's missing Gay's facemasking.

Mike Tomlin is Doug Collins of the Bulls. Time for Tomlin to go...search for the unlock of this team'a insane talents. MJ in this analogy is Ben. Ben is older than MJ was in this example, but going 500 8-8 and 9-7 and even 10-6 is not going to cut it. We should have had a couple of 13-3s or better with Tomlin.

It was....only about a 6 yard gain...woulda been Dallas ball on our 47, 15 seconds left, no timeouts....would've needed about 10 more yards and likely out of bounds.

we were making them at 76.9% clip and the second one, in particular, was a horseshit no call illegal contact

I wouldn't have had the balls to try for 2 on the first one, and the last two in the 4th quarter every coach in the NFL would have tried... but c'mon, that's a really good team and we had them beaten with seconds left. Without that facemask, it's more likely than not that we win.

What was likely out of bounds? Witten?

No...he was stood up in bounds. Would have forced a timeout and given us another play out of FG range.

The icing on top is that Gay got away with the same thing the previous play or so. Unreal.

I'm afraid Tomlin will be bullet proof for at least a couple more years. Not the Steeler way and all...

IDK, I always had the feeling that Munchak was brought in as more than an OL coach. Break glass in case Tomlin needs fire. The Rooneys cant be this fuckin stubborn to let this shit show continue.

Time to make the bold move. Cant let Tomlin have the final word on another draft.

Why was anyone even confident going into this game? I just don't get it.

Idiot coaches coaching idiot players. Ben is our only hope and we have morons on the team fucking up another gem.

Disaster of a season Tomlin has going here.

I explained why in the game, of all games, I feel the call to go for two points after the opening score was a bad move.

No reason for it there...we'd already had the momentum shift with the strip.

Coming in on a three game losing streak was not the time to take risks like that.

Risks not backed up with how the rest of the game was called anyway.

I'm at the point where I've just stopped worrying about it. I watch the game, but I stopped having expectations.

This team is going to continue to be volatile week to week until Tomlin is shown the door.

I don't know. The last three games are looking pretty consistent: L.

As some others have said, Tomlin is Dan Byslma. Mario had the stones to get rid of Disco Dan. Tomlin has a job 4 life. Some on here will still defend him. You don't have to look far for some Tomlin defenders...

There are serious issues going on with this team. I'm talking leadership, people calling each other out, people calling the coach out. It's a bonafide fucking mess in that locker room right now I guarantee it.

Fuckin Cockrell, Davis, Toussaint level IQ group. This bunch of dummies deserves Tomlin for a coach. Ben's a good soldier man, but a smarter team would fuckin mutiny.

No, I'm saying that without the penalty, Dallas would have likely needed a 10 yard gain AND get out of bounds in order to try the field goal....15 seconds would prob not been enough time for a completion in field of play and clock stoppage to try winning FG

One thing I noticed about Dallas' defense backs, they had their hands all over the receiver all damn game and rarely got called for it. Holy shit did these refs miss obvious call. And Dez Bryant? That piece of shit pushes off every time he steps on the field and the refs put the blinders on.

Do we have any confidence in the Colbert/Tomlin drafting team? In my opinion the biggest need for this team is to draft Ben's replacement. Sure talk edge rusher or defensive secondary but now is the time to get THAT GUY who will replace Ben. Whether we like it or not, Ben is a good ways down the back 9. Maybe you draftniks know what QB's are coming out this coming draft. I don't, but I sure hope THAT GUY is there. But then we also have to think Colbert/Tomlin have the brains to recognize that. I highly doubt it.

Last week I posted before balt that Tomlin would lose the game by one because of a stupid 2 point fail. It was in the Matrix, I read it wrong. The insult will be at his presser, he'll defend his decision and will say he'd make the same decision again.

This is certainly a disappointing result. That I do not debate. This team can still find it's way into a post season where anything can unfold. Not done yet.
