Major offensive staff changes.

Odds probably triple that we bring in a young QB, perhaps in the first.

Better draft ammo = better odds to get better players.

You all were saying nothing would change the week Canada got fired. Quit trying to act like you know how the next year will play out.
You think they’re taking a young QB in the first?
If the Steelers go 10-7 and squeeze into the playoffs? I'd say around 10-15% chance.

We lose out and finish 7-10? I'd at least move up the odds considerably, maybe 30%.

Still doing my calculations.
Okay let me know.

I want some action on that.

Time outs are cool
Use them or take a penalty. They needed to use them.

It's the FG that they didn't kick that cost them the tie.
How about don’t put yourself in that situation needing to take a TO?
One was for Mitch's helmet malfunctioned. One was used to conserve time. And the other one was used to figure out QB sneak.

It wasn't the use of time outs that lost this game.

Okay, I'll bet you $500 that there's a 12.5 - 18.5% chance we draft a QB in the first round. Deal?

I tried hard not to succumb to the dark side, but I hope they lose out.

The only thing that comes from winning now is a worse draft position.

This team is toast.

You are right. That isn’t part of the general mismanagement slop and slather bullshit that happens every week when Tomlin tries to win games 17-16.

In other words, you 100% don’t believe for a second that we’re taking a QB in the first.

I’m with you on that and this part is going to be the toughest for you to swallow: Tomlin has a built in excuse that he lost his starting QB. I know you hate Pickett and that’s cool, but they were 7-4 when he went down.

I doubt Tomlin’s seat will even be warm next season.

You're assuming they get the TD they got later.

They got that TD because Killebrew blocked a punt and gave them a short field....after the three and out the D got when the Steelers failed on 4th down.

Who knows what happens if they kick the FG?

I offered you a bet that Pickett would be benched next year. I even made it the halfway point of next season and there were crickets.

You grasp onto shit people post, twist it and then offer these bets based on the distortions.
Oh wow, that seems like a lock. Why wouldn't KC take that bet? He should take out a loan and plop down all he can.

If they take a top 100 pick QB in 2024 that isn't in the top 10, they're dumbasses. Pretty much the bulk of the high upside guys went into the transfer portal.

I could see maybe a Rudolph type in the third but this team has many needs.

MANY.

A lot to unpack here. Are you thinking it would be stupid to draft, say, Michael Penix or Bo Nix in Rd 1 and therefore they'll do it? This is not the year to have a franchise-QB type fall to you outside of the top 10.
