Hard as nails 7 inch platter. The Screaming Eagle of Soul........Charles Bradley backed by the Bullets (aka Budos Band).

And check the Bradley's monster version of Changes by Black Sabbath on the flip side. Smoldering. Even STD will thumbs up this burner.

Damn, Lit that was dope. Changes isn't as pimped out but being familiar with the song surprised the arrangement was so similar.

This one is a regular and not just because of the Troy P name check-

And then there's just the straight truth. LULZ at the cracker who does the intro. I know this is mostly a rock board, but I'd be front row for James before any of the classic rock acts. Maceo Parker tears the house down on the sax solo. Loving the Captain Kirk lounge wear attire.

So you're saying you don't feel like getting up and being a sex machine?

Whatever happened to Candlebox, any way? That singer had serious pipes.

Was on Showtime last week. DVR'd it watched later in the week. Must see if you appreciate drums/percussion like I do. Baker is God Like at playing them. Says Boham and Moon were nothing compared to him. Recommend catching it if you can. Here's a little taste. Talks a lot about what influenced his style from Jazz drummers (Max Roach) to Tribal African drumming/percussion. Very interesting.

God do I love old musician's with nothing but time on there hands. Love that mindset...accomplished everything you could dream of, with nothing but thought & self reflection left to get you through days. I love picking the brains of those crazies.

77...If you dig Soundgarden (I do), get the new box set that was just released. "Echo of Miles" 53 tracks, most of it previously unreleased.

I do like Soundgarden. Was fortunate enough to see them at a Day on the Green at the Oakland Coliseum back in 1992 I believe. Thanks for the suggestion.

Since you posted this, I've come to fucking HATE this song. I played if for my wife & have only heard it about 6 million times since then. I could only imagine if I listened to radio.

Agree... a bit overplayed now. At the time, I was only hearing it on the Alt rock and college stations I listen to.

They do have a new song out that's decent.
