I don't know about that. It seems to me the team with the better defense certainly won last year.

It's about having balance anymore.. not just loading up solely on O or D.

Can't name all the DLine in Seattle without googling the roster but that was the lynch pin for the Seattle defense. Constant Overwhelming Pass Rush keep manning struggling and scared for his life. I loved it. Only SB I can rewatch (besides Steelers of course) with enjoyment.

Defense has won a championship within the past 365 days. Seattle may have put up a lot of points but if the Seattle defense wasn't as dominant as they were the Broncos could have matched that total.

Many Steeler fans vastly overrate the importance of defense.......its a big reason we are in the mess we are in.....offensive ability is much more important in todays game

Adams may just be a little lazy, you know. Having to bend his knees that much to accommodate a smaller rusher. Also Thomas may only be 5'9 but he is listed at 217 and with a full head of steam I bet he runs over anyone here. Just sayin'.
