I was always a big critic of Outlaw, but god damn he had a good game, and looked just as good as Vance and Ebron that game!
I hope that dumbfuck enjoys never seeing passes and playing for the goddamn Lions.
Serously, how dumb is Jesse James?

Just dumb enough to sign his name to a piece of paper for 22+ million dollars.

I think he was pretty smart to take that deal. He wasn't going to get paid anywhere near that much in the 'Burgh.
I think a fairer question would be: How idiotic are the Lions? They immediately went and drafted TJ Hockinson right after signing JJ for a 4 year, $22.6 million deal. In 2019 the outlaw had all of 16 receptions for 142 yards with a QB desperately starved for legitimate pass-catching targets.
Maybe there was just PTSD from the years when Matt Millen perennially drafted a WR in round 1, or maybe Matt Patricia was having visions of that Patriots dual-TE attack with Dum Dum and Mr. Stabby.
How Matt Patricia and anyone in the Lions FO still has a job at this point is beyond me.

Dumb enough to not sign with a super bowl contender. But if money is your thing, then yeah. He was smart.

Money is the thing for pretty much all of these guys...it’s their job. Winning a ring is important to most, but it takes a back seat to getting paid. Winning a Lombardi is way more important to us fanboys than the players.

Absolutely. Fuck, even dumbasses like AB and Bell signed with teams that are in serious contention for a title. But they got their cash. For sure.

Bell did not sign with a contender he signed with the Jets. Assclownio did not get paid this contract he got paid by Pittsburgh when he was still playing football at a high level. They are both ring chasing now getting table scraps for paychecks. I am willing to bet James was not offered anywhere near that money by any other team in the league. You would be a fool to take 10 or 15 million when over 22 million on the table with Detroit.
Remember ARE getting that insane contract from Washington? He was probably going to go play for his hometown Bears until Snyder started cutting checks to him. Was that dumb to sign as well since the Redskins were not a contender?

Hope he saves that money, because he'll be out of the league soon enough.
Went from producing at a decent level on a Super Bowl worthy team to becoming an absolute waste of space on a bottom feeder.
Nice.

Obviously the Lions were stupid for paying James in the first place and once they saw him on the field they probably thought..."oh fuck, we still need a TE".
Now James is the blocking TE while Hockenson gets the glory.

Didn’t James also make it clear that he was relieved to get away from the “zoo” that was the Steelers AB influenced locker room and organization at the time?
He called the Steelers locker room the Kardashians.

We should have traded James for Ebron 4 years ago.

Damn Mike Evans is a bad ass. They should sneak him into some of the Heisman House commercials since he is the reason Johnny Football won that award.
He is the first WR to catch a TD in his first 5 MNF games is a good stat to have as well.

The NFL is turning into the NBA with the way the officials manipulate the play.

So that makes at least 3 pass interference calls on the Rams in the last 2 drives. Just giving them free yards will lose you a game quick. The latest one should have been OPI.

AB at halftime with 6 catches on 6 targets for 38 yards and 0 TD's.
I wonder if he's happy with those numbers?

What a tremendous end of the half by the Rams. They went full send on the WR screen to Woods and executed perfectly for 1 second remaining for the FG. Hell of a play and great coaching.

He was 12 of 15 for 113 last week so they can probably expect him to behave this week.

Isn't that 2 int's in 2 games for JPP? or 2 in 3 games? Mangled hand and all.

Ehhh, they had 2 TO's and moved the ball all of 20 yards in 1 minute. Until they hit that last play, I thought it was really poor execution. And the guy got lucky he was tackled when he was, because when he realized he didn't have the TD he needed to get down.

Needed that FG.
I wonder if Suh knew that play was coming due to practicing against it when he was on the D-Line with the Rams. If that guy had Cam Heyward or Tuitt's motor he would be a monster. He takes too many snaps off per game.

Ha, I love seeing Brady dejected.
I even rewound and paused to see Brady-face. It's better than Manning-face was.
Such a difference. You see when Ben throws a pick and he's all pissed off. Brady throws one and it's all "shucky-jeez, lookit that."

That was impressive. Break the huddle with 7 seconds line up snap it with 1 second and hit the little bloop to the RB in the flat before the D has a chance to figure out what they were looking at.

No Risk It. No Biscuit.
I laugh when McAfee talks about when Bruce was coaching for Chuck Pagano and they would get to a 4th and 1 and he would ask Bruce "What you can't get a yard?" and Arians would fire back with "You are God damned right we can get a yard!" and he would go for it.
