You just saw it right away with his footwork. And more zip on the ball.Texas Steel wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 1:03 amI was willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt with the preseason game, but when it comes to execution and energy, Trub and Pickett definitely impress more than Bibbs.

Fuck the NFL network and their double-screen shit. If I want the Cowboys, I'll put the local channel on.

Good first drive. I didn't love the pick but I'm rooting for the kid. He has offensive weapons at his disposal to really do something.

So is NFLN about to leave the PIT game or what?

So, I'm going to have to watch the replay tomorrow to get the 2nd half now?

What kind of third world soccer station shithole is the NFLN?

Trent Scott and Joe Haeg are awful at OT. Our starters better never get hurt.
The "Good Morning Football" banner ad obscuring the replay of Pierre's nice play in the end zone was cute.

So, their third stringers are less trash than ours?
The question is how much longer will they try to inflate Rudolph's value before giving Pickett quality reps at #2?

Robinson looks like trash. None of our depth ILBs have showed very well.
Bush didn’t make stats
0.0 tackles
Looks like he is stepping it up

Only a matter of time till Pickett laps trubisky.
I’d like to see the OL gel for 4-5 games. No rush at all.
Here’s the overarching theme for the Steelers for the next couple decades. Put Kenny Pickett in situations to succeed and this team will succeed

Let's not get carried away. Trubisky has had some success in the NFL. Pickett is doing this against guys who will be bagging groceries in a few weeks. The windows and timing all get a lot tighter against 1st string defenses.

I know Cam, TJ, and Highsmith didn’t suit up, but the trenches just don’t look good on either side of the ball

Robinson has been super disappointing. Standing flat footed, getting torched, its like the game is toooo fast for him, he has no instinct. Looks like a bum tonight.

Real problem with "inflating his value" with #2 reps is I don't think it worked tonight. He had some good plays, then as soon as there was adversity... back to same old Bibberty. He is who we thought he was.
