I thought we were going to be robbed by the rule that the ball is down as soon as the QB dives forwarded.
Is that a new rule? Thought that only applied when the QB slides. Don't think the dive forward rule applies when the QB is a runner.
I believe it is a rule. There might be a stipulation for goal line or behind the LOS, but if you are a QB and dive in the open field, the ball is down where you start the dive and where the ball is. You get zero slide if the field is slippery. That is my understanding. Always wondered how it worked on the goaline or QB sneaks.

So far Mitch is locking in on receivers

That’ll come back to haunt us at some point
It's kind of funny. Mitch takes more risk, which yields more variance good and bad, but the end results of QB play is pretty much the same as Pickett. Just more volatility, and more entertaining. Kenny is like watching paint dry.

Our emotional 13 year old girl team is coming out with some "fuck you Mom, I'll text Billy all GD night if I want to" energy.

Why are you trying to argue? I thought Mitch broke the plane. Jesus dude.

Most on here didn't know you can't advance a fumble from another teammate on offense on fourth down and naturally assumed Najee scored if Mitch didn't. Doesn't work like that.
It wasn’t an “if”

Only a fucking window licker would think it was possible Trubisky didn’t score.

Lay off the trailer park meth for a day or two

😂

Cool deal. Where did I say Trubisky didn't score?
You missed the word “if” that you used?

:?

We’ve all busted on Danny Smiff a lot.. but the punt block has been exceptional for this team the last few seasons.

I guess you have to be deemed giving yourself up which would not include a goal line play.

“A quarterback does not have to slide feet first to be considered to be giving himself up,” the league’s online rules say. “Regardless whether the slide is feet first or head first, as long as he gives himself up, he should receive the protections afforded to him as a player in a defenseless posture.”

So saying if Mitch broke the plane = me saying Mitch didn't break the plane. Lol.

KC, for the love of God, just dial it down a notch or two today.

Najee Harris is the very reason you NEVER draft a rb in the first round

Well I think Mitch has almost as many TDs now as Pickett.

Trubisky is rallying this offense beautifully and scoring TDs in the red zone. Been a long time since we’ve seen this!

Moronic play call on first down.

If Mitch is under center, either he or Najee score easy.

Shotgun on first down from 1 was utterly fucking brainless.

Couldn’t the NFL network shell out for a real play by play man in the booth? Rich Eisen is awful. Anyone would be better.

I know, right? It's almost as if Trubisky could be the best of our shitty QBs.

But fingers still crossed for Mason. Looking forward to that in a rubber-necking train wreck sort of way.
