Former 2nd rd pick Aaron Dobson can't stay healthy and out of Bill's doghouse. Drafting a big receiver would add another redzone presence for Brady. This kid impressed me not dropping a single pass senior bowl week or at the combine despite having a broken thumb.

With the 167th pick in the draft the Patriots select, Vince Mayle, WR, Washington St.

Pats Picks
1.) Eric Rowe DB Utah
2.) Damarious Randall S Arizona St
3.) Henry Anderson DE Stanford
4.) Duke Johnson RB Miami
4.) Marcus Hardison DT Arizona St.
4.) Mark Glowinski OG WVU
5.) Vince Mayle WR Washington St

Seattle this offseason has added a playmaking TE matchup problem to its already considerable offensive talent. Here is a weapon tailor made for the play action game-- a solid run blocker from the backfield/slot who can really get downfield in a hurry. Has terrific ball talent and is a fun player to watch on tape. He's also college football's biggest punt returner at 6'3" 260lbs.

Seattle selects:

I've already extolled my draft crush for Delaire... more picks to be made.

Love Darryl Roberts, too. Picked him for the Steelers yesterday.

Having gotten ourself an OL upgrade, a guy who, along with Charles Clay, can help address red zone issues, and a perfect QB insurance policy for 2016 if our guy doesn't hack it in his "prove it" year... time to move on to getting younger, cheaper replacements for big ticket guys we have on the roster in 2015 but who will be gone by 2016. First up is Manny Lawson... this player is kinda like a younger version.

Okay, so most of my third day picks in this draft are guys that I cant believe are more or less completely off the media draft radar. For instance, Buffalo is likely without Fred Jackson after this year and they'll need a rotational back who can do things on all three downs and who, if they're lucky, also will provide a skill that Lesean McCoy doesn't. Enter this guy.

So, I'm a highly recruited Juco transfer who had 1000 scrimmage yards on fewer than 235 touches. I'm 5105 223lbs and ran a 4.48 40 (.12 faster than similarly sized Zach Zenner and .13 faster than smaller Malcom Agnew) I have the quicks of a 4.05 SS, the agility of a 6.9 3c. I catch the football naturally with soft hands, I block like a fullback-- whether it's a LB on a run play or hustling out to the edge to pick up a blitzing CB. I've got size, speed to outrun a secondary, the best stiff arm in this draft class, highlight reel plays and extreme production getting into the end zone, low mileage... why the hell is no one talking about me?

The Buffalo Bills select:
Dreamius Smith, RB, West Virginia
