I don't need to see either of them in Steelers uniforms again.Jizz Mop wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 1:13 amSpeaking of our WRsSteelperch wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 1:07 amWe’ve got a few WRs I wouldn’t mind seeing Jimmy G coming here and doing that to.
I hope we keep the Rudolph to Washington connection in tact.
I’m already tingling with excitement.
League Playoff Mega Thread
Re: League Playoff Mega Thread
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Yeah, I'm feeling that too

I don't think he got it

The Bengals should roll either of these teams.

Would be fitting for these crazy times
That could put it away right there.

I don't have any particular hatred for the Rams, but it does strike me as just and right the football gods wouldn't let them buy themselves a championship .
Loading up with big name FA guys like Miller, Beckham Jr, trading away their drafted QB for Stat Padford, etc.
Bad challenge.

On that failed 4th & 1 QB sneak the wife seriously says “what kind of play was that”?
I’m like, what do you mean.
That play they just ran.
Oh the QB sneak?
She goes ya, I’ve never seen that play. Or at least the Steelers never do it…
Rams should be embarrassed the way 49er fans have taken over their stadium like that.
Looks like. and sounds 9er home game.
And the NFL though LA can support two teams. They cant even support one.

They traded for all those guys. Those are moves you make to better your team. The Bengals brought in like 5-6 FAs this past season. Are they trying to buy a championship too?
Troy Aikman said in a broadcast earlier this year that he never ran a QB sneak.

Did the Rams just run a TE screen off of a flea flicker? Or, was that just a dump off?

Really cool play.

Traveling home and had to listen to 1st half of Rams game on radio
Anyone else find it hard to listen to Kevin Harlen?
He's a speed announcer that must get paid by the word. Worse yet..
His whole tone and pitch is all the same. 75 mph.
At times I find myself waiting for the play to be over for the color guy to explain the play.

Eh, I don't know, I guess it's accumulating those pieces midseason to load for a title that LA the city couldnt care less about that feels a little cheap to me, like it's the NHL trade deadline or something. I hear you, just not feeling these guys.

Could you imagine the Steelers trying execute something like that? Way too many moving parts.

Tough to say this would be an upset. Line was 3.5 I believe, yet Shanny has beat McVay last 6 times.
Niners beat the highest scoring offense in Dallas and then went up to Green Bay and held the MVP to what, 10 points?
Niners are for real. Possession attrition football, clock management and really damn good defense.
Basically a Mike Tomlin porno.

Oh I’m with you on the LA thing. I just laugh at the NFLs insistence of having teams in a city that clearly won’t support them. Look at that stadium today, has to be 70-75% 9ers fans.drmalba wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 1:55 amEh, I don't know, I guess it's accumulating those pieces midseason to load for a title that LA the city couldnt care less about that feels a little cheap to me, like it's the NHL trade deadline or something. I just can’t criticize an organization for making moves that they believe will make them better. Hell I wish the Steelers had that sort of attitude.
Yeah, how'd that go?

Ha! Forgot about how bad that was.
I was watching Burrow earlier and how good he is at setting up screens. Ben played 18 years and never ran a screen that well.

In a local Pittsburgh radio post game show this year, a caller asked why the Steelers don't do QB sneaks. Charlie Batch talked about a time when the Steelers played in Washington, and Ben got hurt doing a sneak. Charlie said after that, no more sneaks. It will be interesting to see if they go back to doing them with a new QB next year.
