Running back corp and O line coupled with Randy was an absolute disaster!

We will never win a SB with Tomlin. So might as well cut or trade Ben. I think he still has something left. Expecting him to be Superman with this offense and these coaches isn't remotely fair.
I came to that conclusion 4yrs ago and it really hit home the year after that. I had guys tell me I was crazy but after watching him come up short year after year with his teams being ill prepared, bad game and clock mgmt, no in game adjustments and/or key injuries to needed people at inopportune times and showing them the evidence they've come around to my way of thinking. There is no way they should've loss to this team but not only did they lose but the way they lost speaks volumes of this team and this coaching staff way more than words can say.
They deserve to. You think Baltimore or NE fans are bad?Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:44 amCleveland has suffered long and hard. Wait until Cleveland gets a few winning seasons. Think Ohio State fans, but much worse.

Thanks for posting this TB. Seems right. I know some posters think you're a Ben hater and I know they are full of shit.tbsteel wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:43 amThe game was lost in the first half and Ben was dog shit bad. Missing throws left and right. It's okay, there's plenty of room under the bus for Ben with the rest of them. And you know why he leads the NFL in tipped passes? Because he doesn't move his feet in the pocket anymore to find those passing windows and our offense is so f'n predictable that opponents are all over what we're trying to do. Did he play a lot better in the second half? Sure. Did the Browns back off and give a lot more room for our offense to work with? Damn right they did. Glad he went down swinging.
The Browns kicked our ass on both sides of the ball tonight. 48 points. Lord.

Lotta truth here. Ben’s footwork has been bad all season long. Some games he got away with it. Others he did not.tbsteel wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:43 amThe game was lost in the first half and Ben was dog shit bad. Missing throws left and right. I just don’t know how much he gives a shit anymore. I know the dude is a competitor but holy fuck is our coaching inept...he’s gonna over come that as well???

Depends if they've been hiding something about the arm. To me, the velocity is still there. I like to think with a full offseason and preseason he can re-gain that downfield accuracy.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:42 amI don’t know dude. What gives me pause is there's no reason to believe this offensive plan was because of concerns about his arm. It was the same offense they prepared last year before Ben went down, and then continued to run with Mason and Duck.
THIS is the offense they wanted, and I don't think it has anything to do with Ben's arm. If Fitchner and Tomlin are back, there's no reason to think things are going to change.

The D didn't play well, no. But the O fucked this game up on a colossal scale.
That's a hole that is tuff for any team to overcome.

Fitchner has a boner for stretching the field horizontally, but he doesn't have the personnel to do it.

The Steelers FO is magnificent; the roster is good every year and great about every fifth year.
Before I die I just want to see a Steelers team overachieve.

I hope we can get someone else signed to push Rudolph. Heinicke on WFT was found under a bridge, we need to scout young vets on other rosters/practice squads better.Obviously wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:29 amI am more than ready for the Mason Rudolph era to begin.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:27 amLet Mason play. Ben is one of my favorite players ever, probably my second favorite behind Polamalu. I will be crushed when he hangs it up. I've spent about half of my life watching him play the game. He was fearless, an amazing playmaker, a guy who would never give up on a play and who you could always count out to pull out a W somehow.Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:45 amThanks for posting this TB. But he's not a great player anymore. The AFC is loaded with great young QBs. Our championship window is closed. A Steelers team without Ben is scary to think about, but it will be a reality very soon.

I bet he's thinking about it. Probably terribly embarrassed and disappointed with tonight.Greeksteel wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:48 amI agree with Perch, he wont go out with no fans in the stadium
But if his arm really does feel good, I think he'll want to play next year. Not a given that would be in PIT.

He has an interesting take on gay people said we should put them all on an island and nuke it. I doubt he gets a HC job ever in the NFL.
That makes two of us
They had three chances tonight to get back into this game, and Tomlin knee-capped them twice.

Mike Tomlin had two opportunities to go for it on 4th and short tonight and he punted both chances away.
Y’all know I hate Mike Tomlin, but holy shit what more evidence do you want from this fuckwad that he’s a walking cliche?
He literally does nothing, and the bullshit people on here praise him for he’s not even good at.
Mike Tomlin is a goddamn fraud. Period. Good luck pulling for this loser because he ain’t winning a fucking thing ever again.

You don't win in the playoffs turning the ball over that much.
