I can’t help think the result might be different had he called a timeout for the defense before the Cards scored the TD. Even if they still scored, 2 timeouts would Have been enough for the offense.

Looking at the play and its one of two things either Edmunds left his zone and played man or Hayden saw Clay leave way too late. It looks like Edmunds forgot his responsibility on that TD IMO.

Edmunds is the worst safety I've watched in the NFL.

That play is in no way ok Edmunds, mich as everyone loves to hate him. I think Haden was just gassed and got a late break in man2man.

I don't care much for Edmunds but that's why I gave two scenarios. When I did a rewind on the play Edmunds' man was running into what would've been the zone occupied by Hayden. Edmunds actually picks Hayden as though Hayden wasn't expecting him to be there. That's why I said it looked like the play was on Edmunds. I did leave the possibility that it could've been on Hayden tho.
