So, a couple months ago, some national draftnik mocked Jaret Patterson to the Steelers in the 3rd, and I scoffed, but went back and re-watched... and somebody on that tape stuck out in a pretty darn good way. It wasn't Jaret Patterson. It was the nasty ass Olineman knocking folks down all over the place. I'm seeing him as a mauling OG in the NFL, but there's some penchant for versatility there, too. Might be a little high for him, but there's a relatively large valley between here and our next two picks, so the Philly Iggles select

Kayode Awosika, OG, Buffalo

a mauler.....good pick....had daly not been available I wouldve grabbed him

Ihmir Smith-Marsette would be extremely acceptable as a Steelers' draft choice. He can scoot.

I like a lot of prospects in this class and quite a few WRs. ISR was one of my favorites.

Atlanta is done for the draft

1) TE Kyle Pitts Florida
2) RB Javonte Williams North Carolina
3) C Quinn Meinerz Wisconsin-Whitewater
4) CB Israel Mukuamu South Carolina
5a) DE Dayo Odeyingbo Vanderbilt
5b) S James Wiggins Cincinnati
5c) DT Tedarrell Slaton Florida
6a) QB Kellen Mond Texas A&M

The needs were C, RB, NT S Backup QB, Dline. I regret not trading up with B2B in the 3rd to get either Humphrey or Dickerson but other than that it is not bad.

Pennsylvania's other city had some big, glaring needs coming into this draft. Honestly, I don't believe in Hurts, but the smokescreen is that IRL Howie Roseman does, so we went with that, and roster built around it.

1.6) Christian Darrisaw, OT, VA Tech. Solves LT for a decade or so. Moves Lane Johnson to his best position at RT.
2.37) Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida. This guy is lightning in a bottle. Instantly adds some electricity to a solid but unremarkable WR corps.
3.70) Jamin Davis, LB, UK. LB has been an issue forever. The length and athletic ability here is sick.
3.84) Tommy Togiai, DT, THE. Andy Reid's favorite, Cox, needs some help on the interior of the DL. The energy and relentlessness will be an asset.
5.150) Shakur Brown, CB, MSU. Need somebody opposite our big FA signing from last year. Maybe a little handsy, like all MSU DBs, but talent and swag for days.
5.156) Jaelon Darden, WR, North Texas. Even more juice for Hurts in the WR corps, and he'll be fun in the return game, too. Freak.
6.189) Kayode Awosika, OG, Buffalo. Like Drama likes to say, owns stock in the company that makes Bad Motherfucker wallets. Nasty.
6.224) Richard LeCounte, FS, UGA. Didn't measure awesome at his pro day, but an All SEC performer. Developmental talent to replace the Green Goblin.
6.225) Shawn Davis, SS, Florida. Another developmental flier on an SEC talent. When healthy, great player.
7.234) Justin Hilliard, LB, THE. Another 5 star, Power 5 talent, with a penchant for big game heroics.
7.240) Darren Hall, CB, SD State. Got nickel CB written all over his game.

Thanks again as always, B2B for putting this on. FC or Perch, good luck with my Birds next year. Fly Eagles Fly.

Getting Odell back will be a boost to a Browns team that put up 48 points on our beloved Steelers while their head coach was home watching the game on his couch.

If you suffered through that game until its conclusion, you saw that the Browns defense needs upgrades on all 3 levels.

John Johnson, Troy Hill, and my trade for Stephon Gilmore will join Denzel Ward, Ronnie Harrison and maybe Grant Delpit to form a solid secondary.

Myles Garrett needs help so i spent a lot of draft capital to upgrade the front 7

Thanks as always to B2B for running the show.

Browns Final Draft:

1.) Christian Barmore DT Alabama
2.) Joseph Ossai EDGE Texas
3.) Payton Turner DE Houston
3.) Stephon Gilmore CB Trade w/ Patriots
4.) Monty Rice LB Georgia
4.) Tyree Gillespie S Missouri
5.) Jacoby Stevens LB/S LSU
6.) Ihmir Smith-Marsette WR Iowa
7.) Ernest Jones LB South Carolina

That's a serious defensive talent infusion, Drama. Makes em a much better balanced team going forward. Great value on Smith-Marsette, too. Nice haul!

And hey, folks, we made it! Congratulations all, and thanks again B2B for all the hard work!
