STEELERS CORNER JOE HADEN (23) REACTS TO A PASS INTERFERENCE CALL LAST WEEK AGAINST THE SAINTS -- MATT SUNDAY / DKPS
Al Riveron, senior vice president of officiating for the NFL, releases a video each Friday discussing some of the more controversial or close calls from the previous week's slate of games.
And as Riveron did three weeks ago when he failed to make mention of a terrible non-false start call in the Steelers' 33-30 loss to the Chargers Dec. 2, Riveron made no mention of either pass interference penalty called on Joe Haden in last Sunday's 31-28 loss at New Orleans.
Fuck that guy! How he doesn’t have to answer to this bullshit is fucking infuriating!

True, but it's an example of at best a judgment call going in favor of the Steelers on a key, game winning play. It's hard to put officiating near the top of the Steelers' woes this year when you have that as a counter-example, where a questionable no-call won the game for the Steelers.
Well we can trade that ref fuck up against CIN for the ref fuck ups against LAC and NO. So we lose to Cin and beat LAC and NO we now have one more win and still in first place in the division. If they just made the right calls we would be in a better situation than the one we are in now because they didn't make the correct calls on certain plays.

I thought Blandino was annoying and bad at his job until he wasn't there anymore. Al Riveron is so bad I wouldn't allow him to ref a pick up flag football game in someones back yard.

The one constant in the NFL is the refs blow calls.
Many teams are impacted by their incompetence throughout the season(s). That's probably the main reason I refuse to blame them for the steeler's woes.
Look no further than the Browns, if they don't get hosed against the Raiders, they're in the mix for the AFC North title this weekend.

After the Saints game on Sunday, I had three Patriots fans contact me saying both DPI calls against Haden were utter bullshit, and that the Steelers should have won the game. They also said they were happy the Saints did win because that reduced the likelihood of playing the Steelers in the playoffs. Their words, not mine.
