I know this isn't the point of the thread, but here's a quick how-to for free streaming on an android phone.

- Download this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... n_US&gl=US

- Prior to game time, set your phones location to somewhere in Pittsburgh.

- All local NFL games stream, for free, on Yahoo sports.

I'm aware this isn't the same as watching on TV or a computer, but it'll do in a pinch.
Do you know if this will still work if you have the ability to cast your phone to your TV?

Sounds like Apple TV is going to be the most important for NFL viewing. I'm really hoping they have team subscriptions instead of paying for every game. Give me the Steelers and Red Zone, that's really all I need.

Bonus.....Severance on Apple TV is one of the better shows I've watched in years.
In their current state, I hate everything about this organization.

Windows 11 is rolling out the installation of Android apps. Might take some tweaking, but you'll be able to install the app on your laptop and either cast or hook directly via HDMI.

Severance was very good. And it had an extremely superb cliff hanger to end the season.

Haven't tried with the this, tbh

Thanks. But I shouldn't have to do that for a prime time game.
NFL needs to end the Thurs night games. Many of them the past few years haven't been remotely competitive, and the players HATE HATE HATE the short weeks.
All of this is true but I think part of the price tag was to get better games on Thursday nights. Not Jax vs NYJ but games that will be worth watching for more than there just being football on TV or fantasy stats.

I thought everyone had Amazon Prime for the shopping.
You know it's bad when you're ordering toilet paper for 2-day delivery.
I have purchased TP in bulk via amazon for like 5 years now. It really is a convenience. Just buy TP like 3 times a year.

I use Honey to see if I'm getting good prices, but I really need to think about all my staples and figure if it's worth signing up for regular Amazon delivery. I've only looked at a few items, but TP actually seems to be cheaper than most places I can find it...delivered to my doorstep.

And the annual sub is practically free if Prime Video is worth $12 per month to you.

Amazon Prime is an incredible value.. for me at least. I never bought TP on prime, but there are lots of things I do buy on Amazon regularly. I’d say just about every week I have some Amazon shipment coming to my home. For me the Prime streaming service is just an added bonus. I use it occasionally. But for me that service is all about the value of free two day shipping.

There's not a ton I buy regularly, but I started doing the bulk of my shopping there during the pandemic. It was fantastic when they included free delivery from Whole Foods, but now I guess I'll just have to make the trip myself (but they'll still do my shopping/picking for my order!).

The free shipping adds up quickly even if you don't buy that often.
