Stats sucked ass until 4th Q, but KP8 had a pretty good game overall.

A place to talk Steelers football and what else is going on around the NFL

It’s got to be a record: Steelers 4-2, compared to yards per game.

30th in defense: 383.5 yds per game
31st in offense: 273.5 yds

It’s impressive the Steelers have managed 4 wins. Obviously if we continue to win the yards will balance out.
Turnovers matter too and they are way up in that metric. When you factor in 4th down stops and missed FGs as well as blocked punts that skews the metric even more. Field position and points that are easier to score due to the turnovers.

not able to be maintained at the current rate or level.
We just got Diontae Johnson back and he played really, really well on Sunday (outside of his brainless taunting penalty. He's always good for one empty-headed incident each game) and Kenny and Diontae built a nice rapport during the preseason. I expect Johnson back is going to really get this offense going. Freiermuth will be back at some point, which could be big later in the season.

Also don't forget. We should be getting Cam Heyward back in 3 or 4 weeks. That fucker's a difference maker if there ever was one.

Just because this team has struggled up to this point, doesn't mean they can't play a lot better going forward.

That 4th quarter was one helluva step in the right direction.

It’s impressive the Steelers have managed 4 wins, with a 110 yd differential per game. Obviously if we continue to win the yards will balance out.
Dejan put an interesting spin on this with his Daily Shot piece this morning.
He said that with the Steelers + 6 turnover ratio, their 4th down success, and Boswell being perfect on FGs so far ( Equating a missed FG and failed 4th down to a turnover), they are at +16 turnover ratio through the 6 games. That is definitely a formula for success.
(Yes, throw the blocked punt in there too. Thanks stillthere.)
