Cards with a run, left bases loaded and had a runner thrown out at the plate. Reds had bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th, nothing!

They might have had a call if Stewart had tagged him.

Here we go again, though- a one run lead never felt so large to overcome...

I'd argue volquez be more successful then nibbles and Worley combo and Morton now.

Certainly successful where he is, and they can bunt their way to a win. Luckily we don't have to be in our dugout. Middle of our order coming up and they don't bunt! We are awful two games in arrow.

Morton grooved a half dozen pitches this inning and last. He was missing and catching too much of the plate for a couple of innings.

This is why I asked if the Pirates even had anyone up in the bullpen...it seemed obvious to me Charlie might be reaching his limit.

Team is a fucking hot mess right now...they need a come to Jesus team meeting and some players.

Right now they look more like the 2011 Pirates than "the best team in baseball".

Wouldn't u rather have volquez going then our nibbles? Morton our 5th?. Just saying. This current roster in danger of reeling off a huge losing streak in afraid. As u say tho pitching hasn't really been the issue vs the putrid disappearing bats.
