Eifert double teamed, allowing an uncovered Bernard to get near the goal line.

Eifert TD catch on the very next play.

Good call, Jeemie.

Eifert isn't the focus of this offense. His 10 TD catches are from no defense giving a shit about him.

Just along for the ride......

BTW, I heard today that Ebron and Eifert are tied for the highest drop rate oin the NFL among TEs-- over 9%.

Solid predictions B2B but... Brandon Williams has been very very good and a huge improvement on last seasons ngata. If your saying eifert is a sub par TE like ebron, your flat out wrong. Eiferts drops rate was pretty much all as a result of last weeks game vs Houston. Hes easily one of the top receiving TEs now.

Ngata and Williams were playing together. I love Williams. I am merely reporting the stat-- I'm neutral on Eifert.

Rule Question.

On the Bengals last TD drive they had third and 3.
Marvin Jones caught a ball after coming from out of bounds.
They threw a flag on Jones.
They marked off the five yard penalty and replayed third down at third and 8

The Bengals continued that drive and scored a TD.

How is that not move from third to 4th down on that Marvin Jones play?

A. Not a complete pass since he went out of bounds.
B. Can't the cardinals decline the penalty since it was an incomplete.

Carson's looking pretty good right now.

He caught it but he ran out of bounds first giving him a advantage?

As these plays come up the Rules Committee should look into things like this.

The opposing team should be able to decline that penalty if they choose, it would have been 4th down in this instance

That rule should be changed. By running oob, he's not an eligible receiver. The penalty should include loss of down.

it would have been a first down if they declined the penalty.

I think the rule is fine, but I'd make it incomplete rather than a 5 yard penalty

end of game Carson Palmer rearing his ugly head

Bengals are the latest team to employee the usage of time outs before the 2 minute warning.
