AD is chasing history and records, he's not going to come here to be a backup and get 4 carries a game. We are the last team in the NFL he'd ever consider signing with.

This draft is too deep to be going out and spending money on older vet no matter who it is. I could see bringing D. Williams back as he fits well in the offense but we need to find a good young back to develop behind Bell. We'll be visiting with alot of then at combine.

And speaking of running the wheels off of Bell, not only did Tomlin do that to Bell at the end of the year, but he also tried, and succeeded in turning Bell into Jerome Bettis. He made him one dimensional and less impactful, and ultimately it limited us more on offense. Everyone is so impressed with the back to back games where he set Steeler playoff records for rushing but I was more dismayed that they totally got away from using Bell as a weapon in the passing game.

This.

We either come out run-centric or pass-centric and don't know how to seamlessly blend the two. Haley is mediocre at what he does and Tomlin has proven he isn't capable of overseeing either side of the ball.

I don't know about that. Tomlin probably deserves some credit for a young defense that, aside from NE, has been steadily improving.

What I would fault them for is a lack of new concepts and coaching guys up to play a defense capable of slowing NE. They seem content to "do what they do" and hope someone else knocks NE off.

Ben comes back, Tomlin doesn't = CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
