The loss of Shazier is likely a deal breaker for our championship hopes (we don't have any other real game changing defensive players capable of doing what he does) and unless Joe Haden quickly returns to midseason form, I just don't believe our defense will prove to be strong enough for a title run.

If anything can change in that regard, it MUST be our front 7 coming out this Sunday afternoon and putting a serious ass whoopin' on Tom Brady.

They're capable, I just don't know if they'll ever put it together.

Agree with the bolded. However, we all must remember that they had Shazier last year and the result was the same as always. V Williams wasn't starting because of Timmons. I also saw L. J Fort drop really deep in zones in the ravens game like Shaz does.

Hilton, Allen, and Sutton are also new faces.

And the steelers.com website depth chart has Haden as starting left cornerback but the injury report says he's questionable.

My comment on podcast was we were all excpecting a high scoring, thirty something, thirty something game..
