Good points. Hopefully a few more carries for Watson/Conner....and probably see more screens as a substitute for running.

Right  ...I fully expect Lev Bell to have 30+ rushing attempts against the Colts.

We'll lead 20-0 at the half, then turtle to a 23-17 win.

This is a given to happen.

Bell is in such phenomenal shape, though....can definitely see Tomlin testing that 370 carry "threshold". Only way I think he doesn't get there is if he sits the last 2 games because PIT has wrapped-up home field.

Currently, his 16-game pace is 388....but his recent pace would project him close to 430. He had 192 carries his last 8 active games of 2016, which leave him at 386 for the year. With 2 games in 5 days, it would definitely be nice to see him get only 30-40 carries over that span. But I'll take the 'W' and hope he can sit the final 2 weeks.

You are right Scrunge, unleash the passing attack. Bell is already crying that he's being run into the ground. He doesn't want to miss that big new contract. Bring on Connor/Watson. You certainly have this game sniffed out.

Is Tomlin really going to feast on the Colts if we are up say 17-3 and their offense shows no sign of life whatsoever? Probably not. He would be willing to just run the ball, maybe even give Connor/Watson some time and just have a 20-6 final score and move on to Tennessee.

Is Tomlin really going to allow Bell to touch the ball 60 times in a 5 day span? Again, I doubt it.

If it were me I unleash the passing offense. These two games are desperately needed to get back on track, to get several players back on track. There is no tomorrow. We need to just crush these two opponents and get the passing offense pointed in the right direction, and then have nice 10 day rest, our next 'bye' week if you will.

Technically, he appears to be crying about the workload in practice...

Weird team.

Yup, slop and slather guaranteed.

Nobody does Jekyll and Hyde like the Steelers.
