I was told we didn't need Hilton because he wasn't a good enough cover guy.

Did Cincy’s offense go scoreless at the half?Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 10:46 pmI think most of us get this.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 10:38 pmOne thing you guys need to realize is that the Bengals defense is LIGHT YEARS better than the Steelers where it matters. Did Cincy’s offense turn the ball over 4 times in the first half?
Weird…..when you don’t completely fuck your own defense over…..good things can happen.

I'd say the Bungles are for real. 28 first downs. Mike Hilton. PHYSICAL FOOTBALL.

Steelers gave Cincy way more trouble than Bills did today. Did you see the Ravens game last week? Miami vs Bills?

Tomlin is like Week 1 Lombardi. We can continue to bring up that stupid game and the Bungs will go to another AFCCG.

Has anyone noticed the thing I've been obsessed with watching this game? The Bengals came out and ran every play of the first drive directly at Edmunds. Almost true for drives two and three and the entire day. He has gotten fooled, blocked by TEs, dragged by WRs & RBs. They literally drew up a gameplan to go after and dominate him... and it worked. They've beaten him every way possible.

I don’t care what you people say, I hope Cincy makes the Chiefs cry bitter tears.

Steelers defense vs top offenses this year
37 scored by Cincy
38 scored by Buffalo
35 scored by Philly
And last year
42 scored by KC
36 scored by KC
36 scored by Minny
41 scored by LAC
41 scored by Cincy
Throw in the last 2 playoff appearances prior to last year
48 scored by Cleveland
45 scored by Jax
Just 40 points per game allowed over 10 games. I’m sure it’s no big deal.

Burrow had no preseason and was jittery after appendix surgery similar to how Ben was. Week 1 was a fluke. Week 1 often is a fluke regardless

The question was asked whether Tomlin could have a plan to beat the Bengals. It has happened. Tomlin had a rookie and Mitch Trubisky this year. Taylor has Burrow.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 10:52 pmTomlin is like Week 1 Lombardi. We can continue to bring up that stupid game and the Bungs will go to another AFCCG.

I’m sure when we reach for another giant asshole like Devin Bush or Artie Burns this coming draft it will be the missing piece to a legendary defense.

How anyone could root for a division rival in the playoffs is beyond me. That’s my only rooting interest. Cincy losing.Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 10:53 pmI don’t care what you people say, I hope Cincy makes the Chiefs cry bitter tears.

Our offense and their turnovers probably had no part in those lopsided scores nor Watt missing several games this year.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 10:53 pmSteelers defense vs top offenses this year

I don't want the Chiefs to have a dynasty. Ok let’s continue to bring up week 4 of preseason. How about does Tomlin have the goddamn brains to field a competitive defense in a game of meaning like the game we are watching right now? A week 1 game might mean a ton to Tomlin but it means next to nothing to real teams like the Bengals.El Kabong wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 10:56 pmThe question was asked whether Tomlin could have a plan to beat the Bengals.
