So in the Bucs’ lineup, the four players you probably wouldn’t want to lose for any length of time are Corey Dickerson, Starling Marte, Gregory Polanco, and/or Josh Bell.

Dickerson’s been nursing a hamstring injury since Monday...Marte got pluked on the hand Tuesday...

...and now Josh Bell has left with side discomfort.

Happ and Soria...two 2015 trade deadline acquisitions...would have been two I would have liked to have gotten this year as well.

Soria gets $10 M next year, so that’s too rich for Nutting I guess.

Happ is a rental...he’s UFA for 2019.

I’m ok with the rotation as is. They will never add a top flight starting pitcher. Knowing that I’d prefer they not address the rotation. If they don’t add a decent reliever though, that would be utter bullshit. This team would be 3 or 4 games better if the bulllpen wasn’t so putrid. The lineup is ok, the rotation is ok, if they bolster the bullpen they would have a fighting chance at stealing the wildcard. Kyle Barraclough and Brad Ziegler are both available from the Marlins. Either of them would improve this bullpen.
