Was he a receiver or runner? How many steps did he take? Did he have possession the entire time?

Ridley sucks.....let's see some Samuels.

FWIW, heck of a touch pass from Ben.

We'll see what review says....but I know a catch and fumble when I see it.

He never had possession and was fumbling already.

Bad call.

If Colbert was on the fence [like I was], that Ridley fumble just sealed that they won't rescind Bell's tag.

People talking about high scoring games.

Jets 3
Bears 7

3rd Qtr.

I could see Ben trying to hit Hunter deep on this possession.

If he hadn’t been stripped, and crossed a goal line line holding on to that, and the ball came loose when he hit the ground, would it be a catch?

Again, that's vs the NFL's #1 defense to this point.
You keep saying that. I looked it up. They're like at the middle of the pack. Or I looked in the wrong place.

I assume it's DVOA. It's a good metric for reviewing a season, but 7 games in it's just not meaningful.

But if a team 18th in scoring and 27th in yards [or thereabouts] is #1 in DVOA, then that's a fucked up stat.

turnovers and context. 5 yards given up on 3rd and 3 is much, much worse to giving up 15 yards on 3rd and 20... which one makes you 27th in yards?

I thought he had possession....bobbled initially, then put away before it was stripped.

In either case, I don't think review overturns the call on the field. But probably worth a challenge.

McDonald could be Gronk/Kelce level if he could only stay healthy.

Percentage vs average (negative numbers are good)
1 CHI -15.8%
2 CLE -14.5%
3 BAL -14.0%
4 SEA -13.5%
5 HOU -12.7%
6 BUF -11.1%
7 JAX -10.7%
8 DEN -7.9%
ESPN and NFL doesn't have them anywhere near the top ten in total defense.

Legacy media is STOOPID.

Common sense. There's no universe where a team 18th in points and 28th in yards is #2 in defense, unless said stat is lacking sufficient sample size.

You're anecdotal example is NEVER going to be the difference between #2 and fucking 28th.
