Keisel is missed.

Hard to go d an example if a 7th round pick working his way up the roster by way of hard work.

From teams to multi-year starter on a Super Bowl team.

I don't think there is anyway Harrison comes back. He's made it known publicly that this is it. And his boys like Keisel and possibly Troy being done, fuhgettaboutit.

I've been on the side of those saying we have to wait and see with Jarvis. He was pretty bad today. He lacked urgency and explosion off the snap. He either tried the bullrush or the stunt to the inside all day and he was stoned. It's one of the reasons Matty Ice had so much time after we slowed down on the exotic blitzes.

Most of you look at the stat sheet and form an opinion.

Not spectaculor by Jones, but not a poor game.

If Jones doesn't get a sack some of you ladies can't get it wet.

Well, I'm a Jones defender, but even I expect more than 0 tackles and 0 assists. He wasn't really even that close to even hurrying Ryan on his pass rushes. I thought it was a poor game on his part.

Now, kudos to Vince Williams. He's really coming on.

You tell'm Mr Super Genius. To a dumbass like me his bull rush looked like a stray cat stretching out on a scratch post. Here's hoping he does something that us numbskulls can crow about.

You need glasses to go with the shitty metaphors

Doesn't take a Mensa to see he set up pressure on stunts for Heyward and caused a third down stop by walking the G into Ryans lap.

"......he's going to try hard, and he's going to come close to making sacks"

Something that plagued this defense today. They were close many times in the first half but couldn't close the deal for whatever reasons. Second half didn't really sniff ryan he had all day on several series. Disappointing. Not putting it all on JJ. But he has to stand out and set the tone IMO. Something JJ has yet to accomplish. Perhaps over the next couple games he does. This defense needs a spark from some play making guys. Why not start with JJ going on a sack tangent? SBI :D

Back to the "illusion" of pressure.

Thanks to Mr. Worilds for pushing the pocket up the middle forcing the high throw on the stunt that led to a 52 yard Pick Six

FTW...but, it didn't go down statistically as a sack, so it doesn't count.

Jones had a bunch of hurries today as well.

Go back and look at last year's draft.

Bell maybe best player. Maybe Richardson.

Jaarvis looks like a better player than Mingo.

U guys want everyone to be an All pro

I must've missed that. I've not been down on Jones...his coach expected him to be "rusty" last week. I watched him a good bit today. Maybe I'm not watching the right stuff. Didn't seem as though he did much. I know he wasn't on the stat sheet, but didn't seem to have much in the way of pressure either.

He was a the cause of quite a few errant throws from Mr. Ice...maybe a more mentally sound QB makes those throws, maybe not. He made an impact on this particular game with hurries. And was responsible for a few run stuffs, as well.

I'd bet my house he gets a plus with coaches grading him. That's on initial watch though.
