Very Pickett-esque
Nice
LOL you guys are getting trolled so hard.

Like you're proud that Pickett and Trubisky are comparable. You've already lost the argument.
Pickett = ROOKIE

Mitch = what, 6 year vet?

So people are afraid of firing Tomlin and ending up with someone like Wilks or Saturday.

Yet, both of those scrubs gave Tomlin all he could handle...

M Allen. One of the dumbest things ever seen on a football field. What was the point?
Fringe ST player, giant idiot
Belichick would cut his ass Monday for that stupidity. Our standard is our standard though. Plus Marcus Allen is a PSU kid...good feel good story.

What kind of discipline/coaching should Tomlin lay on Marcus for that inexcusable play?

wow, you called a QB draw there?

Officially the dumbest call I've ever seen.
Mensa-level compared to what Marcus Allen did, however.

Thank you Marcus. You're fighting the good fight. He's looking at the macro-picture here.
I heard every time you make a post hoping the Steelers lose causes the football gods to extend the tenure of the QB you don’t like one more week.
Superstitions are for children, c'mon now. There are no such thing as "football gods."

Truly shocking. I'm personally offended.
Stop that! You'll make them angry!

We are sorry, Football Gods! Please forgive us for this infidel's words.

Awesome dude. I'm so glad that our first round, 24 year old QB looks exactly like one of the biggest QB busts in the past 5-8 years.

I can't believe there are no practice squad ILBs on any other team that can't be head and shoulders better than Allen.

Sit his ass the rest of the game even on STs where he only sees action. Robinson the rookie has passed him at Ilb

Steelers go three and out.

If the Panthers come back, remember what Allen did…

Trubisky with some Pickett-esque pocket presence running right into a sack and collapsing like a wet paper bag.

But that's a good thing because Kenny has only sucked this year, not for several years like Mitch.

Exactly, that kind of stupid shit can have a karmic blowback effect.

How many people on the sideline want to kick his ass?

Another quirk….are the refs only giving the QB a yard when they dive on a QB sneak?

It seems like they are…Trubisky had 2 sneaks where he squirted about 4-5 yards but I don’t think they gave him the yardage.
Apparently that rule changed. QB gives themself up whether feet first or head first. Spot is based on where the slide/dive started.
I was corrected on it a couple weeks ago…so basically if you do a QB sneak, the most you can get is the length of your bend at the waste plus your one handed or two handed reach.

Said another way bend over and touch the point of the ball to a wall, and get your feet as far away from the wall while still keeping your legs perpendicular to the ground…and that distance from your feet to the wall is your max QB sneak distance…any movement from that point forward is the start of the slide or dive, and where the ball gets marked down.
