I was just making an observation. Sorry to have ruffled your feathers with an off the cuff comment in a football thread.
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

Said it on the podcast—browns couldn’t stand up to the persistent run game... and it slows down/tired out Garrett, who was damn near invisible today.LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 7:57 pmAs I said earlier...he unlocked the whole game.Stallworth16 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 7:53 pmConner 20 runs for 101 yards. 5.1 per carry, 1 TD.
Conner averaging 5.0 YPC so far this season.

By the time he is ready for C2, Ben will have retired...and if Claypool has earned a massive C2, I’m going to bet there will be another Lombardi...maybe two...during that time period...or at least we’ll be ultra-competitive for them.Stillerz Bar wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:14 pmGood Lord.... the kid is 5 games into his career and you are already worrying about how big of a problem his C2 contract will be?
So it’s not a problem at all...or if it is, it’s a good one to have.

Just went back and froze the screen on TJ's offsides on the one Browns scoring drive. The play clock was at zero and he had not yet crossed the LOS so it definitely should have been a Delay of Game penalty. Too bad that's not reviewable....might have been a shutout if that was called correctly.

I didn't realize pointing out an observable problem is bitching. Read it however you like. . .stillthere wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:34 pm"THAT's gonna be a massive problem"
sounds like bitching or complaining to most anyone (meaning me) that sees or reads it.

Its not out of the question to believe that a number of the big contracts will be gone by the time Claypool is up for C2.COR-TEN wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:43 pmI didn't realize pointing out an observable problem is bitching. That said, feel free to "point out" potential contract issues years in advance every time someone starts playing well. I prefer to approach it from a "glass half full" perspective and be glad we have playmakets.

Steelers, Titans, and Seahawks are 5-0. Packers are 4-0. Who will be the first to blink.

Gotta say. I truly enjoyed the style points today. They need to do that more often.

Appears Green Bay is the first to blink. Gonna be interesting on Tuesday around 2pm when he is on The Pat McAfee Show for his weekly segment. Last week I think they had him on for like 40 minutes I assume this week will be a much shorter segment.JackLambert58 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 11:14 pmAppears Green Bay is the first to blink.
