Fitchner actually has been doing this all year. Calls an ultra-conservative game. Identifies the opportunity. Then calls up a couple big plays when they need it.

Not defending that as satisfactory. Just saying that's the job he's being asked to do, and he's doing it.

Probably need to go bigger on defense and run blitz more.

We like to "ease into games". Tomlin likes to be as conservative as possible in hopes he can win with attrition football. Only opens up when forced too.

Who would have thought...your young QB looks better when you let him throw a bit on early downs?
