WC Weekend - PreDickShuns, Observations, Whining
Re: WC Weekend - PreDickShuns, Observations, Whining
Jones is an impressive runner, but at some point, someone is going to send him to sleep if he keeps refusing to slide.

Jones is inferior to Purdy…that’s for sureSteelperch wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 10:45 pmThey look like twins, down to the number. Not sure where you see Jones being inferior to Pickett.
That was slick

He might be faster, but I don't think he's as physically strong as Jones.Kodiak. wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 10:50 pmI think Kenny is a little faster and a little better arm.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 10:45 pmThey look like twins, down to the number. Kenny might get there with more working out, but Jones delivers punishment when he runs.
If Kenny tried that, at least this year, I think he might have died.

Kenny is slightly quicker, both are good runners. Jones is a bigger guy. Both have average NFL arms, need some work with anticipation and accuracy at times. Both can win games when not asked to do too much. Neither have the tools to ever be one of the elites. Neither will kill your season. Pretty similar players in my book. With the safe space, will the proper usage of correct pronouns be encouraged?Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 10:56 pmKenny is slightly quicker, both are good runners. Jones is a bigger guy. Nobody will be permitted to post anything as everything can be deemed offensive to someone. Essentially it will be a blank forum, and you’ll be able to adjust the color of the blank screen so nobody is offend.. It’ll be the perfect forum for this new generation.Jizz Mop wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 10:58 pmWith the safe space, will the proper usage of correct pronouns be encouraged?Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 10:56 pmKenny is slightly quicker, both are good runners. Pretty much where I'm at. But I'd like to see Pickett with a real OC before entirely agreeing with you.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 10:56 pm

One of those "elites" just lucked out at home against a 3rd string rookie who only started a few games and basically didn't know his ass from his elbow.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 10:56 pmKenny is slightly quicker, both are good runners. Two non-elites are involved in one helluva game in the afternoon game, right now.
Measurables are overrated. Coaching and supporting casts are far more important in my book.

NOW
I'm not sure I would have agreed 10 years ago. All the rules changes have made the advantages of a FQB much more questionable, especially given that salaries haven't remotely caught up to that reality.

And then look…they went on a 20 play drive that was stalled out due to a penalty and all they got was a FG out of it.
Sound familiar?

Tired of having my feelings hurt by mean comments made towards me by people I’ve never met
I could use a break from it all
Thank you
JM
This play calling, using the whole field.
What are these rub plays?
Legal...
Lol

Cool how some coordinators can scheme receivers and backs to be wide open
Makes it a bit easier for the QB, whoever that might be

The fact that Matt Canada hasn’t been fired yet is all you need to know about the state of the organization.
Loyalty over Results. Contract over Dead Money. Nepotism over Winning
I thought about this too. If they were going to fire Canada, they would have by now, wouldn't they?Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 11:31 pmThe fact that Matt Canada hasn’t been fired yet is all you need to know about the state of the organization.

Couldn’t agree more. Here’s to 2024 when they might have a new OC, and hopefully a new head coach as well.
I've been saying all year that Matt Canada is calling games exactly the way Mike Tomlin wants him to.El Kabong wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 11:35 pmI thought about this too.
