I'm sitting Blake and putting Boykin in for the second half. He's used to working in the slot and might be able to help on these short routes to Edelman, amendola, etc.

They aren't even going to try to run. It's pitch and catch with our zone.

No it should be 3 + 3 + 7. The DHB foot on the chalk was incredible.

Right, could easily be 14-13

At least the team has played will enough to have the opportunities.

Even if it was a hold on the DB there for the last play, it only gives us 1 more shot at the endzone. Not using a timeout after the completion and running 20 seconds off the clock took 4 points off the board for us. We could have inched the ball closer over a few plays and tried a 10 yard attempt into the endzone instead of a 30 yard throw.

This is basic game theory here, Tomlin HAS to know he is bad at clock management at this point. PLEASE delegate the task to someone else. That is the sign of a good leader. Knows his strong points and weak points and spends as much time as possible in the strong areas and delegates his weak areas.

Fly me up there and I'll do it. No question we are leaving a win on the field because of it every season or two.

I'm sorry - Todd Haley has put his stamp on this game to the detriment of the Steelers.

The stupid trick play was nonsense - it was far to high risk when your offense has marched the ball play after play. There was nothing to "open up". It changed the tone you set, and you came away with zero points.

After going down - his insistence to run the football against an inexperienced secondary when you have Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown on your offense is a joke. Attack the weakness... Haley is putting the Steelers in predictable positions - making the Patriots job that much easier.

There is no reason for this offense to run for 2 yards, run for 4 yards, and be stuck in 3rd and 4 with the weapons they have on offense.

Suisham missed 3 field goals ALL OF LAST YEAR.

Scobee might do that tonight!!

Their asinine insistence on running the football in this game is the single largest problem a close. Second is ridiculous time/game mgmt. Poorly coached team

Looks like the coaching is in midseason form.

This. I'm extremely concerned that one thing hasn't changed.

How fucking inept our coaches are.

Bill B doesn't call a switch reverse pass to your star WR to throw to Matt Spaeth when you are gouging the other team.

Fuck you Todd Haley.

Suisham was 10 for 10 last season on field goals between 40-49 yards.

I am amazed at the lack of communication on defense, particularly in the secondary, it is horrendous. Combine the shitty communication with shitty players and you get a super shit sandwich.

Also, the line has to get more pressure...right now I don't see any type of attacking style defense that Butler talked about bringing.

I never thought the steelers would win this game, however, it is rather frustrating the score could be 9-14 or even 13-14.

Kickers are only as good as their holders. Not sure why they switched. Let's not kill the guy yet.

They have two rookies and a scrub in the middle and we still aren't generating a rush. That said, the secondary has been shit.

So Far it's just a continuation of our Preseason.

And yet We Can Win this Game.

We must stop Gronk and The midget.

We must get Brady on the ground.

We must score TDs. I'm not saying this is going to happen.

It did appear to be a holder problem, KC.

The holder doesn't set the ball right, and there can be issues.

I'm not going to jump on scobee just yet, warm weather artificial surface kicker traded to a cold weather natural grass field. Offense giving him 40+ yarders. Placeholder change. We have been spoiled by Suishy last couple seasons who has been MONEY at Heinz.

I didn't expect the Steelers to win this one anyways, but coaching decisions are really hurting us early.

This game should be 14-13 by all rights. Todd cant catch a ball, Todd can't Jedi mind trick kicks. Fuck ups & lack of playmakers are killing us. Let's dominate the second half.

They act like they've never seen the offense the Pats are running before.

They switched because Wing got cut in favor of Berry. I think Michaels made it sound like they switched holders before that last kick-- I think he meant "he has a new holder" this year, since he was on Jax until two weeks ago.

It's funny,

I actually like the offensive philosophy and system Haley has installed.

But he is THE WORST FUCKING PLAY CALLER ON THE PLANET.

BAR FUCKING NOBODY.
