Agreed. This statement is ignorant on so many levels. Apparently, people need to be reminded of the utter lack of talent that required replacing on this roster during Laundry's time here. Can you imagine the vitriol if the steelers took flyers on qb's with so many other glaring weaknesses?
I would like to see Mettenberger get snaps. I think he can be the 2nd string guy.

LOL - probably one of the biggest reasons our defense turned around in the middle of the season

Disagree. The addition of Davis, Shazier and Burns playing better than expected did all that. The weaknesses on this defense aside of the DLine injuries has been Cockrell and Mitchell. JMO

Me too. I'm pretty sure LJ is gone and the Steelers gave him all the work as an audition, considering ZM will have his fair share next year during Camp and Preseason.

Ryan Shazier has played terribly this game, bad fits and worse attempts to tackle - #1 reason this run defense is failing
