He’s an athlete like Gronk. At this point he doesn’t separate like he should. Blocking sucks. Amazing athlete, good hands, red zone threat but isn’t the sum of his talents yet.

Gesicki??? If he’s the 1st round pick, I’ll go to Lowe’s, buy a 2x4, drive to Pittsburgh and smack Colbert across the back of the noggin with it...

He is the fastest awkward guy who can't run that I can recall seeing. He runs like a hunched over Smoky Burgess, yet he's really agile. It's the damnedest thing.

Harrison Phillips 42 bench reps
Vita Veta 41
Phillips is the best interior player in the draft from a technique standpoint...He could end up top 10

If you were smart like me you’d have been blocked by Dulac long ago.

Hopefully not our first round pick, but Gesicki definitely made himself a couple dollars this weekend.
Quadree Henderson's decision to come out a year early continues to confuse. Teammate tested with way closer to the numbers I was expecting out of him. Late round return man at this point. I'll be interested in Whitehead's numbers on Monday.

Every year I find NFL Network/NFL.com's coverage of one of their signature events to be so lacking in content. How effing easy would it be to compile a little video cutup of each prospect's combine? Weigh in, podium PC, bench, 40, VJ, BJ, 3-cone, ss, field drills.
Hell, they can't even be bothered to post the freaking results for anything other than the 40 (no splits, mind you) 75% of the time.
The best part is: you can bet your ass they do this exact cutup for the teams to use.

I fully agree B2B. It is frustrating. It takes someone to leak the info on twitter. You still don't get to view 99% of it. Unless it's one of their combine darlings. I notice Mayock really pumps up certain players and drives down other players. That should not be allowed. If I'm a combine contestant I'm pissed about his mouth running faster than any timed 40 yard dash recorded. I think that's where the problem lies. These so called analyst's [steve smiff? Really!] are so impressed with the sound of their own voice it's so pretentious. Takes away from the whole experience. /rant
Side Note: Being compared to Martavis Bryant. Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Ran a 4.37 @ 6'4 206.... 32 1/2" arms, 10 1/4" hands, vert., 30 1/2", Broad Jump 124"/10'4".

Darius Leonard 17 reps? Trumaine Edmunds 19 reps? Vander-Esch 20 reps?

Like B2B and 77 I too would like to take a moment to voice my displeasure with the combine coverage.
Thanks to weekend soccer commitments (effing soccer blows). I’m way behind on my combine watching but I’m already irritated by the lack of airtime for Daniel Jeremiah. I don’t always agree with his opinions but he’s solid and well connected.
I used to like mayock the first few years of the NFL network but now I just tolerate him and his surly demeanor. I’d ditch Eisen completely and let Jeremiah host it thus tripling his airtime.
Steve Smiths tough guy persona annoys me but at least he offers an opinion. The rest of the retired players just there to add credibility for the casual fan I guess.
I agree with posting all vital testing information. Again I’m trying to catch up and can’t easily find it on my phone. I know Walterfootball used to post numbers now I can barely get crappy site to open on my admittedly antiquated cell phone
Final complaint how hard would it to show some game tape of these kids? Youre the NFL. Surely they can have access to some college tape.
I do enjoy watching the drills and any football talk this time of year is appreciated but they could do soooo much better.

i dont think they want the important numbers "out there" for some reason, just the 40 time which is looked at and awed at but not nearly as important as most of joe public makes it out to be. Agree its frustrating, id rather just watch the 3 cone drill all day rather than these 40 times.

Rolland-Jones had a really slow 10 yard split. I was hoping for better

As far as Wr and combine risers go DJ Moore is the guy. Man he really looks like a Steeler wideout to me as well, although i dont see any way that we end up with him.

Kinda chuckled at this loud mouth. Claimed in his interviews he'd run a 4.4 40 to his own dismay and I'm sure embarrassment he ran a 4.57 which was not that bad [his 1.58 split is impressive] but after such boastful claims hopefully he's learned to shut up and just work.

How do you reconcile that your man Tomlin has so much say in our grocery shopping?

They said Key lost like 30 pounds to add quickness.

A riser I'm taking a long second look at too is BJ Hill. Prototypical build as a pure nose and could really push Hargrave. I think Hill could go in the mid RND's.
