Talk about The More Things Change...
.
Mike Hilton referenced communication as an issue with the Steelers defense
:
"Especially when they uptempo-ed us, we kind of looked a little shook and kind of lost”.
Different year, different players, same dumb ass coach.

Who felt Positive with Tomlin going for a FG it felt like a loss and someone living in his fears.
Love hearing from the Big Guy felt his team was not ready for Prime Time

maybe on Tuesday someone will ask "the Big Guy" whether it is his fucking job to make sure his team is ready for Prime Time??
i won't hold my breath.
BTW, Steelers fans did not need to hear from Mikey T that his team wasn't ready. We already knew that.

I am coming around to your point on Ben, though. Unlike Brady, time could be catching up with him.
His lack of work ethic is what is catching up with him.

As crazy, hyperbolic, and radical as this sounds I think there would be merit to firing Tomlin today.
He proved yesterday that nothing has changed. His team totally unprepared, his game plan (if he indeed had one) was horrific, and his in game decision making (4th down field goal maybe getting Boswell some confidence
Message would be delivered this was not close to good enough, and status quo unacceptable.
Bring someone like Rex Ryan in to get people focused and fired up, and by game 3 or 4 could have one of those us against the world scenario's.
Sounds crazy but I kinda like it, and Tomlin gone is addition by subtraction.

He has had as much talent as anyone in the NFL for the last decade. He cannot beat the Oakland Raiders, lucked out against Jacksonville, shit the bed against Denver, took his foot off the pedal against the Saints, tied against the fucking Browns, lays and egg against the Ravens, had a 16 point lead against the Chargers and still lost. A good HS coach wins at least 3 of those games Tomlin managed to win 1 of them.
