FC's pregame breakdowns were a big draw for this site. Losing this, makes me concerned for the future of this site. It's a huge blow.

Losing Zivco is a significant loss for the site too. He often made thought provoking football contributions.

For me, banning would stop at obvious trolls.

I think we all know what troll posting looks like.

After that, it's fair game. No one gets banned just for having an opinion.

No one has the right to come on thse boards and expect never to get offended.

The Gospel wasn't keeping this site afloat financially or anything. It is literally a one-man show when it comes to paying for and working on the actual site. The content and the hits generated are nice, they would supply ad revenue if people click on the ads, and I don't mean to speak out of turn, but SF isn't going to die because the Gospel is no longer posted.

As for Zivco, I'm not going to throw any more dirt on that corpse.

Personally never had issue with Zivco. Never thought he was anymore "over the top" than a lot of others here are. I really appreciated his football knowledge too. He appeared about draft time this past draft was the first time I remember seeing any written breakdowns of college players from him. I remember thinking, "this cat knows his shit."

Zivco was certainly knowledgeable in many other things as well and very "matter of Fact" about his stance regarding whatever the topic was. Some folks became intrigued from a "other side" perspective and challenged him. Sometimes a confrontation ensued and sometimes multiple parties were involved where the condescension and sarcasm became the priority and quickly derailed the thread.

Nothing new here really. It happens just as frequent with a select number of members. I don't see how Zivco was deemed a shit disturber when there were more senior posters here that often posted in threads with the same condescension and sarcasm. He was a level headed poster here and plainly stated if you didn't get along with him the ignore feature was available for your comfort.

FC is a straight up Stud when it comes to sports information in general. I was always impressed how this gentleman was able to retain all the knowledge. Then he was able to transfer that information to the "Gospel" or just give us a slight taste of some informed opinion on a college player (draft time) he either liked or didn't like. FC's contribution will be missed greatly. After being a member since "09" I saw FC as a staple of Steelerfury along with SP, B2B, HN and Fury himself. Sucks to lose a valued member. Both FC and Ziv were valued by me. For me it was their No Nonsense Real approach. Not Blindly towing the Steeler company line. Not trying to sugar coat anything just straight up. Mad Respect for that! Even if they disagreed (in my case) they were still respectful in doing so. Tons of respect for both gentlemen. Will miss both contributing here.

Perhaps upper management could see their way to allowing both individuals return? If both do decide to return of course.

Zivco threatened to shoot me in the face a few weeks back.

He is probably related to FC because he has the same "authoratative" style. He claims SHazier is too small framed but the kid missed zero games at Ohio State.

Using the "ignore" function does not work. Many if not most posters copy a guy's post before offerring their opinion. I put Zivco on ignore but it was not effective.

I will not miss zivco because I believe he has "real" issues greater than being a "Homer".

I will miss FC but he is a diehard Steeler fan and he will be back.

I had my issues with FC a few years back, but he's been cool with me since my multi-year ban was lifted in 2010.

Honestly, I like you guys, but you're not my "brothers,".....particularly those whom I only know by screen name or never met. Reminds me of when I invited Fury up to my cottage, back in the Stillers days, told Mrs. Swiss I had done so. She said to me, "What's his name?" I said, "Still Trivia." She said, "What's his real name?" I said, "I have no idea." FC's brother used to post at Stiller's with us but his posts while very knowledgeable about football like Zivco never seemed as off the wall as Zivco could stray. Nor would Mike ever often post often unlike Zivco.
I thought the only way to get banned was to use the n word or mount stupid attacks on other posters which Zivco didn't seem to be doing. Meanwhile, I asked him in a post to tone down his language a bit recently & Zivco said he would.
I agree that FC would be against banning Zivco as Zivco was a good football man & perhaps that was his last straw with all the stupidity here & who wants to write about a team with seemingly little direction. I'm sure Fury is fed up with all the nonesense, too. Meanwhile, not knowing that Fury's name, even I did & I never posted as much as Swissvale?
Meanwhile, I came to Stillers drawn by Fuk's posts & without him posting sometime, my days here are probably numbered, too although I'll miss many of the others here whom I become accustomed to reading. The time that Fuk called me on the phone was/is very special to me.

All I said was SteelerFury isn't going to die because the Gospel is no longer around. I offered no comment on the quality of the Gospel or FC as a person or a poster.

I won't get into my personal opinions of people who post on this board. Some I know fairly well, some I don't know at all. This isn't the time or place to gossip or discuss personal things.

I'm sure lots of people will miss The Gospel. But it won't kill the website by not being around.
