What will you be looking for vs the Eagles
Re: What will you be looking for vs the Eagles
There's certainly going to be a degree of subjectivity with drops and incompletes, but the 10 yard deep box they insisted on/were forced to play in contributed to an awful lot of negative perceptions. Drops, speed, deep ability... all likely got a little distorted in the Sphincterverse. I'd hope we're going to see improvement from all the skill players.

I get what you're saying, but JuJu and JW are actually almost identical size and athletic profiles. While JuJu is exactly 2.25" taller, they are almost identical in every other size and athletic measurement category. JW's wingspan is 2" longer and JuJu has slightly bigger hands. That's really about it, surprisingly.Ice wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 9:16 pmIf JW can put some consistent production up this season, it might be him that gets C2, not Juju, based on relative cost, but Juju is a big slot WR in the NFL who occasionally slides outside to take advantage of match-ups, where Washington has been purely an X, lining up on the outside. Juju is 6'2", JW is 5'10" or 11". They really aren't the same guy. JW was drafted to take the top off the D.
I agree judging WR based on Sphincter-era output could be pretty misleading.
A Range Rover weighs only a little more and is only a little shorter than an S550 AMG, but I know which one I'd rather take off road and which one I'd rather have on the autobahn.

You're smarter than this.....aren't you? Maybe not. smh
Go look at all of their combine/pro day #s.
Have a good one...if that's possible....
I ain't no expert, but the number of targets would make that stat line somewhat meaningful.
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.
The way they're actually used on a football field is very different is the point. One is a big slot, the other is an outside WR. Even though they had comparable combine stats. Like the Benz and the Rover. Claypool currently plays the position Washington was drafted to play, not Juju.
Might not have been the best metaphor, but not really worth the shot at IQ and/or mental state.
I am two or three hazies deep, though.

There's no point. The dude doesn't understand that Washington has developed into a possession type receiver with the ability to get deep occasionally. He isn't the deep threat the Steelers thought he would become when they drafted him. He's still a very good receiver and as Cor and others have pointed out, Washington has been clutch when it mattered most, numerous times.
Washington might have been drafted to play the role Claypool currently plays, but JuJu is JW's closest comparable player.

Ironically, JJSS keeps pushing for outside opportunities to increase potential market value. Even in an NFLN interview. Gonna need all of em at some point, though.
