Funny, I think Matt Canada is a door slammer for taking his dick out and slapping Ben in the face and telling him you are not going to throw the football 35-40 times a game anymore.

JuJu goes down and Ben didn't have his pacifier anymore. They put a real WR (Claypool) capable of being a threat at slot WR and what happens? Big splash plays returns!!!

Zach Gentry, Freiermuth and Ebron, all of the TEs come up with key catches on 3rd down to sustain drives, where in the past 4 games would be ignored as Ben was always locked in on JuJu.

I saw more attempts at lining up under center, more of trying to do play action, more of a commitment to the running game.

Hell, even Derek Watt saw more snaps today!!!

This was not a day where Canada was allowing Ben to be Ben, but to play within Matt Canada's offense. So far so good. How anybody can spin this to think Ben did not change, was not finally having a come to jesus moment and accepting a more game manager role is beyond me.

I am glad that someone saw it like it really is.

You laugh STD but the proof is in the pudding. We still very well could have lost that game if Ben weren't very lucky with a couple picks being dropped.

Look... if door slammers were perfect, they would just be door closers....

but the need to slam doors closed infers that its not perfect.. its a struggle... but when push comes to shove, the door gets slammed.

In a perfect world, the door is already closed, but as we all know - nothing is perect.

Truth is between the extremes. STD is, of course, wrong about Ben not being diminished. But so are those that think he is garbage.

B2B and Perch called this one right from the get go.
1. Ben IS diminished.
2. He needs a great run game and a great defense.
3. vs. Broncos the run game finally gets going, Ben does not throw nearly as much and he looks WAY better.

2. Ben: 15/25, 253 yards, 10.1 average, 2 TD, 0 INT, 120.9 Rating

2 is going to go as well as 1 goes. Having Ben throw 50 times a game is a recipe for disaster.

Yeah we're gonna have to limit the amount of times Ben throws the football significantly. He will throw a ton of interceptions this year % wise and obviously that will result in losses. Najee is a bad motherfucker, but we should try to limit the wear and tear as much as we can. This means were gonna have to unleash Snell on our opponents a little more often.
