Oh fuck, safety negates pick 6… never scene that before
How do you not know where you are and step out of the back of the end zone?

Don't defenses generally start the season faster than offense?StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 2:10 amBroncos offense now has 2 TD’s in 26 drives this season, nice to see other teams struggle.
Lot of QB's and teams struggling. Difference is, with PIT, I don't see this offense working unless the QB is damn near perfect.

I like this commercial. If only real life marriages had replay challenges.
I like when she says "well, you've got one left." How many challenges do you get and for how long?

Probably goes to show it can be easy to blame everything on the QB, but even a HOFer can be kneecapped by his OC.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 2:19 am8 drives tonight and 6 3 and outs for Denver. Guess Paul Hackett can’t hack it. Denver offense getting boo’d at home for 2nd straight game. Sure hope they can find a way to win as I got a little coin on them tonight.

Wilson has been bad last couple years, and has been horrible tonight.
He’s definitely on the backside.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 2:35 amWilson has been bad last couple years, and has been horrible tonight.
NHALS = NFL purgatory
Well that just ruined a good song for me!

That's right, I remember that 11-10 game against the Chargers.

So much sloppy football being played. Symptom of starters not playing in the preseason and less and less practice?
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

But he got a good report card from Tomlin's old college teammate who happens to coach the Bills right now and is focused on winning a Superb-owl.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 9:13 pmMariota isn’t even that good and he looks WAAAAY better to me than Mitch.
Holy shit is Trubisky bad. I mean talk about swinging and missing on the free agent QB. Mitch blows!

This is a bit extreme. The Jags have been picking in the top 10 or top 5 for about the last 5 years. You can stack some talent pretty quick when you have the #1 overall pick 2 years in a row and get however many 1st rounders for Jalen Ramsey and other talent they traded away.Stillchest wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 10:57 pmIt’s impressive what competent coaching and a modern NFL offensive philosophy can do for a team.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 10:03 pmJacksonville’s offense is LIGHTYEARS better than ours.
Lol Tomlin fucking SUCKS
Steelers value historical team prestige over on-field product and winning championships.

How so?
This was a remark on Doug Pederson being a competent NFL coordinator, not on the quality of players.
Also, Steelers have better skill position players on offense, but Pederson is a superior O-coordinator, who won a SB with Nick Foles.
Think the Steelers have any coach who’s capable of that?
Realize that in the last 20 years, the Steelers have picked in the top 10 once due to trading into it. In that same timeframe, Jax has had 17 top 10 picks, 8 of them in the top 5 and 2 of those overall #1.stillthere wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 7:23 amThis is a bit extreme. But that being said, they need a reset and perhaps a collapse to renew talent and flush out the playbooks.

While I'm happy for the phins, I'm immediately dumber'er for watching those two idiots trying to communicate using intelligent sentences.
Of course, I expect it from the jock, but she's just terrible at her job. Just do your job -- talk and ask question. I don't need all of your unintelligent "flavor" thrown in. What should've been a simple one minute interview turned into wasting four minutes of my life I'll never get back.
Mmm-huh....cause that how we do...you-know...and what not...and so forfh...mmm-huh....
I know, I know...I'm probably just having a "get off of my lawn" moment!

So Mike McCarthy outcoached Jibbs before. We all remember that unfortunately. Tonight the Cowboys have Cooper Rush at the 41. It's 4th and 4. Do they punt like Tomlin does? No way. They go for it and convert. Then they know it might be contested so they already had a play called and got off a quick snap so no review. Now that is prepared...unlike us.
There are many people who believe Tomlin used to be a good HC. I believe he never was.franco32 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 27, 2022 2:55 amSo Mike McCarthy outcoached Jibbs before. Like I've always said....he'd be an awesome head of his local Boys and Girls Club. That's his true calling, imo. NFL HC? Not so much.
