Now, let's be fair. Soria needs his rest.

Like I said...damn it if the chapter doesn't have a practical plan!

Florimon isn't available as a pinch hitter because he appeared in both games yesterday and is resting.

For smart hitters McCutcheon and Ramirez had some really bad ABs there.
Dude is pitching you away -- hit the ball to right field like Kang did on his hit earlier tonight.

I think the plan is to send Cutch ahead on the plane tomorrow so he gets accustomed to the West Coast time zone.

They're pressing...want to tie it up with one hit because they know it will be difficult to string a couple of hits together.

This game may have ended when Marte didn't run full speed to second.

That dude is an enigma...all out on one play, lazy the next.

I give Kang some credit and dude goes ahead and follows the McCutcheon/Ramirez plan.

Earlier today Mark Madden actually wondered what McCutcheon must think after years of paying his dues when he sees a line up in front of him like the one he saw last night.

The dude is about 5 IQ points above the mental Mendoza line,
Sad to say his baseball IQ may be 10 points higher.

You must find your inner restful soul, Bam.

I am at peace tonight...

You know, maybe both team's catchers should just not even try throwing to 2B anymore.

Once Cervelli double-clutched, he needed to eat that.

Well then, hope Milwaukee comes back in their game.
Was 5-0 Cards. Now it's 5-4.

What would be beyond amazing is if the Pirates can steal this game & Milwaukee comes back.
Arrieta has to be wondering with his effort tonight and his team's unlimited opportunities how the game is still 2-1.

Nice...but you know it's the Pirates when an at bat by the pitcher is an adventure for them.

I think we've found Arrieta's weakness...he's a bad fielder!
