I'd like to see him play some more myself.

Because he didn't prove he could do anything else.

And I think it was McCluster they compared him to, not Charles.

The runner out of Kent State "has been tagged internally as a miniature version of Jamaal Charles" in Todd Haley's offense, per Breer.

That is really scary. Too think that someone in the FO would favorable compare Archer to Charles. That shows a devastating level of ineptitude.

I disagree, its actually the opposite:

The non-ringing endorsement of the FO was when they picked him on Day 1.
The non-ringing endorsement of the FO continued with the blind refusal to not admit the mistake and cut him.

Cutting him is the first positive for the FO in the Dri Archer experiment.

I completely disagree. I like both players as assets for this team

Should be Archer. Probably will be Todman, under the last-in, first out policy. Dark horse: Cashaud Lyons.

It's a shame that they will keep Archer, he's really useless, I wish they could just admit mistakes and move on.

Really? Are you an idiot or a Ratbirds fan? Or maybe Martavis banged your sister or mom or both? Why in God's name would a true Steelers fan want Martavis Bryant gone? Cripes if Bryant were playing Sunday the Steelers would have probably laid a 60-burger on the Niners.

Exactly, admitting mistakes and then correcting them is a positive.

Labriola doesn't necessarily think it's going to be someone from the RB group, but could be someone else - waived and re-signed to the practice squad. Can Archer sit on the practice squad? Why, I don't know, but it's not looking like elf on a shelf is going anywhere.

Archer is a WR.

And he's not eligible for the practice squad.

Watch it be Tyler Murphy and the whole board have a simultaneous mental breakdown...

If it's anyone but Archer I'll be disappointed but not mental.

If you look at it as asset control, Murphy is the logical choice...doubt anyone snaps him up off our practice squad.

But I'd like the Archer Experiment to be over...be a sign the coaches are learning from their mistakes.

Seriously, how much faster is archer than Murphy? They already have two guys that can blow the top off coverage.

At least Murphy is taller than archer, and knows a bit about the qb position.

Wouldn't it be wild if they got rid of archer and laundry in one fell swoop and picked up a safety?
