The receiver's face mask came first...Mitchell was flailing just to get leverage because of it.

But how would they? Maybe aside from Harbaugh, I don't think any coach would throw a game - even when it's never more appropriate than today - your guys fought for 60 minutes trying to win.

Offense still gets benefit there. Plus they still allow some leeway for stiff arm do they not?

If Mitchell comes in lower he doesn't get a hand in his face.

I don't think Mitchell is a smart player.
