It's amazing to know that Tomlin is going nowhere. Not only that, but if the Steelers have a losing season next year, Tomlin still isn't fired. It may take two losing seasons in a row.

I think it would take 5 or 6 losing seasons in a row to actually get Tomlin fired. There would be severe backlash from the wider world if Tomlin were to be fired after even 2 losing seasons.

There certainly would be. It would be a big story about how the racist Steelers unjustly fired their Hall of Famer African American coach who had 13 straight winning seasons and just lost his HoF QB. There's no way it wouldn't become a huge race issue. Even the Bell / AB departures were given the race spin. Firing Tomlin after a mere two losing seasons would be a hundred times worse.

Just bizarre. It's like the Thanksgiving game issue broke their spirits and they stopped giving a shit about the season out of spite. There's not even an obvious offensive injury you can point to- Ben played fine in the first Cincy game and the Jags game, both of which were after the Dallas game.

The defenses have figured it out. The Steelers make zero changes. You will see all the defenses playing 2 deep safeties and then taking away those short routes. They can't throw deep. They do not even try to run. The short passing game is all they have
