I'll settle for not good, but seeing guys like Pickett and Pickens develop.

The offense will be fine with a real QB running it.

Why does this defense suck so much on long to convert downs?!

Bush needs to be benched. He blows.
Um, defense, don't fuck this up.

Now the D goes flaccid.

Minkah damn near caught that.

Jets went through the D like a warm knife through butter. Fucking pathetic.
Love the confidence. He's the only QB on the roster that has decent footwork and actually steps into throws so his passes look like actual NFL quality, strong and accurate. He doesn't look like as good an athlete as Mitch but he seems to avoid the rush better and knows when to run. Mitch seems indecisive on everything he does. Not sure if he's just playing scared or he's just not that good. Glad Tomlin finally put him in. Hope he's the guy.Kodiak. wrote: ↑Sun Oct 02, 2022 7:37 pmI gotta say, talking trash after that pass to Muth is something specialToddHaleysNineIron wrote: ↑Sun Oct 02, 2022 7:35 pmIll say this, after watching KP at Pitt.
You may hate the draft pick, you may hate the measureables, you may think there were better guys this year or next year...
but this kid is a football player, and will win games.
Maybe his ceiling goes higher than people think and we have a gem....
but even if not, he's a guy you can win in the NFL with
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”
How does Minkah drop that ???

I'd pencil him in as DPOY if most of the other guys on defense weren't so inept. He's quite possibly the best secondary player in the NFL

Nice play design. Can we copy that?

Same old defense. Plays great most of the game, and then on the money drives they fold. Over and over again.

Do other defenses suck this much at 3rd, 4th and long?
