Well Pickett haterz, here comes Mitch.

Probably for the season.
I’m not sure how we’ll get by without the one TD per game, but I’m sure we’ll manage.
Good point.

The whole problem is Pickett.

Now it's fixed.

So every week 1 WR is going to have a game against us no matter who we are playing.

That's more alarming than almost anything else.

Or maybe it's just Meyer's fucked up teachings Hopefully that's it.

Probably because his best plays have been outside the pocket and that pocket was collapsing due to Broderick Jones being awful.

Folks, we aren't remotely competitive on the offensive creativity front.

Stroud isn't even playing very well. Masterclass from their OC. Holy shit this is a schooling.

Damn. RIP Tim Wakefield. Former Sox and Pirates player.
That knuckleball was fucking unhittable for quite a while, early in his PIttsburgh career.

R.I.P.
Damn I just heard he had cancer yesterday. So sad. I was a huge Pirates fan back then when they actually had a real MLB team.
^^^^^^^^
This x 1000. Didn’t Wakefield go like 11-1 his first year with the Buccos (1991? 1992?)

Very true. It’ll be nice to see Matt Canada’s offense unleashed when Kenny is gone

Of course we were not prepared to call a play on 4th and 1.
I understand this is a rare down and distance situation for an NFL game.
Of course we burn another senseless time out.
We will not need that in the 4th.
Of course we are in shotgun on 4th and one.
31 other teams under center?

Staff is a mess... at best

He may have been looking to break out the backdoor and gain the yard himself.

I didn't mind the formation either.

Just sitting here about three plays behind you guys wondering if Bill Hillgrove is going to eventually figure out who we're actually playing today.

Not on that one bro. All Pickett had to do was step up. He literally ran toward the guy and then he was like surprised the guys was there.

I'm extremely bothered by a shotgun on 4th and 1. Our OC is a certified idiot. And he might have just killed our starting QB with that idiocy.

I was bothered by the Shotgun. You have a young QB whose have a shaky game and you takeaway the threar of the run on 4th and one? And your primary target is downfield?

It's 4th and 1. He has to try to make a play. Where's Pickens for a jump-ball bailout on that play?

Not that Kenny is going through his progressions, but I'm not sure Canada's offense actually has 2nd and 3rd options.

I understand that.
But throw it away is better than a sack.
Even if it is stupidly intercepted

Roberts looked like he was on the Houston D on that play.

Either way it’s a turnover on downs. You’re ok with him throwing it away and turning it over on downs? Maybe it was a shit play call and we could’ve actually did a qb sneak or something tricky like that.

I think Pickett gets the first down if it's a sneak on that play.

Well the one good thing if Pickett is out is my Sundays will be free. Only reason to tune in right now is to see if Pickett develops. This team is barely watchable until at a minimum we have a new OC. Not watching Trubisky/Rudolf running this shit.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

No dude, you don't throw it away on 4th down.

Ever.

Especially down 10 late in the 3rd quarter.
