But I agree Cardinals is dumb. They were originally the Maroons, but it faded to a Cardinal red. That's kind of lame and uninspiring. Plus, given the history of the chise, why not start over?

Coyotes kind of sucks because they are mostly a pest.

Wranglers or something like that is more inspiring. In another time, Comanches or Apaches would be awesome but obviously that won't fly today. Roadrunners actually is a good choice.

you could sort of combine the road runner and the coyote with the a name like ACME. Arizona ACME it is.
