You know what's worse than a surviving win?
A gut-wrenching loss.
TN had a ton of breaks go their way. We looked like the better team and deserved the win. F 'em.
6-0.
*reserves the right to roots for losses*
TN did get almost every call and bounce. That said....we do turtle too early for today's NFL. Luckily we kicked their ass so badly in the first half that it was enough, but we have to be better come January.
I'll take it though...6-0!!

This time, 2 full quarters.

Molars, wisdom teeth and fingernails are all gone after that one.
Three points in the second half and still won.
Are you serious? A missed field goal at the last second is not good luck?
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

1st and second down plays were pedestrian causing sharp cuts, or field was shit making the sharp cuts make the field look awful. Not quite sure.
was like watching someone flip a coin and get heads 14 times in a row and then tails on the 15th when you bet they couldn’t flip heads fifteen times in a row. And then they say “looks like you got lucky this time”. I mean, yeah, can’t deny Lady Luck had my back on flip #15. But.

I don't agree that the Indy QB scored the 2 pointer at the endjeemie wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 8:18 pmRight here...Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 8:09 pmImagine being the poor bastard that is a fan of both of those teams.Dan Smith--BYU wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 8:09 pmTomlin watched the Penn State game yesterday and asked himself how he could make it dumber and more exciting.

I'm seeing a lot of Tomlin blame here but old vet QB Ben kept Tenn in the game. He was the main culprit today, no doubt. Can't be that careless and ignore open receivers and not keep the chains moving.

He should have just stayed in one play and then left for the theatre of it! That was a classic Oklahoma drill and he blew it the fuck up! Was awesome!
Between the shit CBS crew and the coaxial cable laying in water and crashing the signal, never heard a peep.
I’m not a PSU fan, but they got hosed.jeemie wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 8:18 pmRight here...Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 8:09 pmImagine being the poor bastard that is a fan of both of those teams.Dan Smith--BYU wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 8:09 pmTomlin watched the Penn State game yesterday and asked himself how he could make it dumber and more exciting.
Absolutely. Brady does not Chuck it into the end zone before the half. Take the damn 10 yards out and kick a field goal. The throw to Juju into double coverage in the endzone, at that point and score of the game, took points off the board, with a FG as the consolation prize.
Ben made more bad decisions and throws
In 2 quarters and 10 seconds then he did in the first 5 games

Yes we got lucky on the last play. All of the other bounces, calls and spots prior to that which contributed greatly in making the game close....not so much.
Anyways... We're 6-0. Made enough plays to win against one of the best teams in the league. I'm taking it.
We were counting and in the first half there were seven or eight times when they could have had turnovers (defender hands on pass or Tennessee fumbled) and they didn’t convert a single one. That felt singularly unlucky.LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 8:13 pmBullshit. Tennessee had every bounce and spot. We crush them 8 out of 10 times! Were you watching the same game?
Ben had a garbage hail mary punt intercepted, a tipped ball, and fucking JuJu not man handling the pass.
Fucking Ben was the main culprit? Are you serious? He put 24 points up.
Shit 1st and 2nd down conversions in the second half was the main problem! Field conditions, opponent adjustments, our lack of adjustments, and lack of execution. Several stupid penalties ate up our nine lives too.
I was texting with my son all game and he called it at halftime: only way we lose this game is if Ben plays loose with the ball.Stosh-67 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 8:24 pmAbsolutely. Yeah. I do not blame Ben for either of the latter two picks. Tipped pass and man Juju is anti clutch. Nice little player but just cannot come up big when it matters. Starting to feel like I won’t be very sad to see him go.LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 8:26 pmWere you watching the same game?
