Reg. Season # 8: Steelers @ Ravens II Game Comments
Re: Reg. Season # 8: Steelers @ Ravens II Game Comments
If the Raisins decide to sack Harbs during the bye, I hear Hue Jackson and Todd Haley are available.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...

HUGE FUCKING WIN!
If we lose that game, it’s a whole different universe we are living in.

LeVeon Bell's WAR is definitely subzero at this point...

Maybe a scapegoat...I dunno I think Harbaugh may be done if no playoffs and is desperate.

Great game all around!
A’s for all units I would think, even coaches. Maybe WRs including TEs get a B+.
Boswell needs to work on stopping the pirouette on his swing when striking the ball.

Flacco is not that team's problem, I do not think. He seemed like he played well today. Should have had 4 more points, but Crabtree dropped a pass on the goal line.

Yes, the turtle ball time munching final drive was agony.

Because the owner came out and told the Coach we almost fired you last year. The media is reporting the coach is on the hot seat. Doubt he'd get fired mid year but going into their bye week, they could sit Joe and go with the young kid knowing he needs reps reps reps.

Replay I saw....not a drop, Flacco threw it wide just off his fingertips.

and, yeah, Flacco IS a huge part of the problem. He's not a good QB, but makes franchise money. Ozzie Newsome is the guy BAL needs to fire.

Flacco is not a bottom feeder QB. Not his fault Ozzie did not extend him sooner. And Ozzie has been fired, sort of. He's done.

But why don't they just blow that shit dead after an illegal forward pass?
defense can take it to the house and turn down the penalty.

Amazing he has this job. THOUSANDS of former players out there, and none of them could be better than Fouts?
Well he did play his annoying self in "The Waterboy"
Still Lit wrote:Flacco is not a bottom feeder QB.
He actually is. Anquan Boldin pretty much carried him to the only thing he's done in his career. That and the moonball DPI. Never been anything close to a franchise QB.

Needed another first down, you knew you were going to need another first down, and you two more plunges into 3rd and long.
Lit....I've not posted in forever, but can't stay silent.
Shut the Fuck Up, Man, and stop being a dumbfuck!! If Steelers did anything dumb on that final possession is was dropping back to pass on 3rd & 11. Ravens and two timeouts which Steelers made them expend, then they were in the spot where a 3rd down run with clock continuing to run puts Ravens in a spot where they need to go 80 in about 50 seconds with no timeouts. What the FUCK is there not to like on that.
Would have been an egregious error for Steelers to have thrown on that series, thrown incomplete and needing to stop the clock.
So Lit...seriously, get your head outta your ass.

Good point. But you think a league that pretends to care about player safety would blow that dead.....but gotta keep Vegas happy!

Disagree. He's no bottom feeder. Not being a franchise is not the same thing as a bottom feeder.
Jeemie wrote:Shouldn’t the false start been a ten second run off?
No, because the clock was stopped. It’s only a 10 second runoff if the clock is ticking when the offensive penalty occurs.

Thanks for the constructive criticism, Swiss. Always appreciated.
My concern was that our secondary is prone to giving up splash plays.
I wanted another first down.

This is interesting. Steelers Recieving 2018
Juju. 53 catches. 672 yards. 2 TDs.
AB. 51 catches. 594 yards. 9 TDs.
AB ahead of career pace in TDs. But way less yards and catches. Probably will pick up in 2nd half of season. Not a good or bad trend as long as we are winning games.

So did we all. Would you have rather given the Ravens the ball with 1:45 left instead of 50 seconds?
Still Lit wrote:Disagree. He's no bottom feeder. Not being a franchise is not the same thing as a bottom feeder.
I don't think he's a top-15 QB, or even a starting caliber QB, to be honest. In my book, that's a bottom feeder.
I mean, for YEARS he was basically Laundry Jones against us (the occasional moonball DPI not withstanding).
