I hope Skoronski's arms get the same treatment as Kenny's hands and he falls all the way down to us at 17 and we land the best tackle in the draft because of it. He can carry that chip on his should for a few years to keep him motivated to work his ass off and continue to get better and stronger until he becomes an all-pro. Win-win for us.

Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Good signing at a good price for Isaac Seumalo. I consider this karma for not being able to retain Hargrave, who also just left the Eagles to play for the Niners.

It's unwise to ignore the fact that almost no one who is below the height threshold and below the arm threshold has been successful in the NFL recently. The outliers are usually tall guys with short arms or long armed shorter guys.

Also, dude played Center in HS and G in college at an extremely high level. Why waste him at a position where he might struggle in certain matchups, vs excel inside? I think he's an all-pro G and an average LT.

Yeah, I think Skoronski's arm length is 32 1/4".

For comparison I believe our starting duo of Moore and Okorafora both have 34 1/2" length arms. Former Steelers like Marcus Gilbert and Kelvin Beachum had 33 1/2" arms. Beachum was short, isn 't he 6'2" not quite 6'3"? But he had enough length in his arms to get the job done.

It would be great if somebody could pull out some pro comparison of a smaller offensive tackle with short 32" arms that was a very good/great Left Tackle.

Now if the Steelers view him as the next great Pittsburgh Steeler center, and take him at 17 and let him spend his first year as the top backup tackle/center swing player then great.

I simply don't view him as a left tackle. To me he is a guard or center
