Yep. This. And what I dislike most of all are those who say, "Well, that's just how the Steelers do business."Stillchest wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 3:26 amI root for the players.Steelperch wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 2:48 amMan, Christian Gonzales looks good tonight. Must be nice to play rookies. But hey, we took an OT we don’t have the confidence in to beat out Dan fucking Moore. And Joey Porter must rot for months until he’s ready to play over our mediocre and aging corners. Have I mentioned how much I hate this team lately?
I dislike the owner and coaches…a lot.

All fair shit.W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 12:03 pmFair point, we should give Kenny more than a 1 game sample. Maybe he'll come out and shred the Browns tonight- I doubt it, but it's possible. If at the end of the season Kenny still looks worse than Purdy, Ridder, and Howell, then the Steelers will have a real problem.stillthere wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 7:26 amI did not see Kenny Pickett play football on Sunday but I will take your word that your PS whatever madden game was entertaining.W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 11:56 pm
Ridder looked better thank Pickett today too. Right now Kenny is playing like the 4th best QB of the 2022 draft... too bad the Steelers took him in the 1st round and not the 5th round.
But, setting aside Purdy and the loaded offense / great coaching staff he landed on, I was discouraged yesterday watching Ridder and Howell. They just looked better than Kenny overall, and they did it on teams not loaded with talent and (at least with Howell) playing for mediocre coaching staffs.
Maybe the football Gods released Purdy (The Kraken) to shatter all of Tom Brady's accomplishments while the deflating emmineffer's is still alive to witness his downfall to not number mr 199 but to mr last in the draft playing for his favorite team growing up. Pretty good script for the beginning of 2023. Also the NFL could probably buy most of downtown SF right now for a few dollars and build a mega stadium in dahn tahn near da bridge. - - - - Myron Cope Field at Black and Gold-en Gate Stadium or something like that. Yinz know.

Do you think, Eric Bienemy is a better schematic play caller than Matt Canada?W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 12:03 pmstillthere wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 7:26 amI did not see Kenny Pickett play football on Sunday but I will take your word that your PS whatever madden game was entertaining.W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 11:56 pm

Yes, but, as someone who lives in Commanders country, I think Ron Rivera is worse than Tomlin. Is that enough to even out?Stillchest wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 12:42 pmDo you think, Eric Bienemy is a better schematic play caller than Matt Canada?W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 12:03 pmstillthere wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 7:26 am

I would laugh my ass off if Public Bienemy #1 was the actual straw that stirred the KC drink. Here is hoping for it.Stillchest wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 12:42 pmDo you think, Eric Bienemy is a better schematic play caller than Matt Canada?W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 12:03 pmstillthere wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 7:26 am

Devon Bush.
Inactive for Seattle game yesterday.
Let's hope the ILBs tonight are the reason the Browns run game gets shut down.

The Seahawks are collecting Steelers first round defensive busts. They have Artie Burns on their practice squad. What's next for them? Signing Jarvis Jones?

I hear Coach Mike is a master motivator as good as Zig Ziglar and Tony Robbins combined.
But he never motivated Bush and kept playing him.
Pete Carroll seems to know how to manage players better.

That's what you get when you hire actual intelligent people. He was a walk-on, so that means he had a high enough IQ to qualify for acceptance into UNC (a top 30 academic college). He didn't get accepted based on being a local football talent and not really being smart enough to get in on his own academic merits (yes, this is directed at you MT and W&M).langer wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 8:08 pmBen Johnson, Lions OC.

Look at all of the successful newer offensive minds (and at HC positions) in the NFL. What do most all of them have in common? They didn't get were they were because of ATHLECTIC talent only! They are mostly all actually INTELLEGENT people -- not some wordsmiffin BS artist with a dumb ego to match.
But hey, we have the top BS artist (with much less real IQ substance -- comparatively speaking) to run our team.
His dumb players love him, sure sounds good in a presser, and looks cool on the sideline, though!
I've been saying it here for almost a decade.
