I stand by my statements above.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 4:36 pmStosh-67 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 3:40 pmVery first series of each game seems like something is off, bad snap, not getting under center far enough, not taking the snap while moving in the direction of OL flow, getting stepped on, etc. etc.....or simply burning a time out because confusion or we are not sure of the play call -
THREE PLAYS INTO A GAME.
We will work all this out in practice this week.
Should have all this complicated football things worked out and practiced to perfection.
And then we will test it out in camp.
Perfect it during intra squad scrimmages.
Fine tune it during pre-season games.
And be ready to roll week 1.
Or, Par for the Tomlin,
Use the first 4-6 weeks to fine tune things.
We lose more games, before the opening kickoff, then any team in football.![]()
This has been happening every week.
Usually the first series.
Blame Frazier,
Blame Fields,
Blame who tapped what knee, how many times,
It just continues to happen.
Blame Najee,
Blame T.O. usage
Blame clock management ...mis-management.
Blame incompetence of challenges.
Go on and on.
This will be straightened out with-in a few more games.
Should not be long now. Be patient.
Not like making the playoffs comes down to losing one game.
The overall short comings of this team is not limited to one snap.
The lack of attention to detail...........It's rampant.
This gets straightened out during the week,
rather in pre-season,
rather in camp,
rather during OTA's
rather in the off season.
rather 2 years ago, 5 years ago
rather a decade ago.
I know it is most usually used as a terrible word.....but.
It has metastasized.
