The word is that JR is distancing himself from the Despres trade, and that most of the moves have been setup by one particular AGM, and he wont name him, but it sounds like its Guerin, and it sounds like Guerin is forcing these trades through with JR.

Go do your research on who is a consistent winning team I am sure you've forgotten all the historical view of both teams. Take it like a man and really do your research you'll find Pittsburgh only come out 3 SC's to 2 over the same time period. Historical winning percentage is PHI 57% to PIT 49%
PIT didn't qualify 17 seasons out of 49 to PHI's 9 Pens all time post season is better by 2% pts due to the extra cup win.

So take your not done shit and kindly shove it into your Sidhole.

Pensnation tweeted a good article about pens injuries, missing 3 of top 4 defensemen, also has stats to back it up. We just have too many injuries to overcome right now. Defense all playing more minutes than and top minutes than they should other than Martin. We need to squeak into playoffs and hope to get tanger and ehrhoff back.

The only reason anybody is melting down is because the expectations have been unrealistic from the beginning IMO. People all over the hockey media and Pens fanbase (and let's be honest, other teams' fanbases too) were talking about analogies to the Oilers of the 80's during their two year run to the Finals. Those type of dynasties can't happen anymore with the modern economic landscape. No different than the NFL in that regard. And even still, the Pens were two wins away from having 2 Cups with this core, just like LA and Chicago. And the team did get to a 3rd conference final with this group, even if they shit the bed when they got there. I'll take that over a bunch of regular season rivalry wins (AKA Philly Sports Titles). But I think people are going to have to learn to get their expectations back in check. That would go a long way I think toward helping to lift this dark cloud of pressure and expectation that hover over this team.
