You aren't going to see Bryant this year.

I don't disagree with what you stated, but you simply aren't going to see him out there this season, in games that matter.

Gonna be, barring an injury, Justin Brown (who happens to be TERRIBLE) or Lance Moore (who is small, can't block but who actually can catch a football.)

Just those 2 guys.

You are probably right.

But why not DHB? He has the size to block and the wheels to threaten a defense vertically.

I forgot he existed.

Was he in for even 1 fucking play yesterday?

If he was, I sure missed him.

He held onto the ball as he was sandwiched and brought down. Something we all used to get all drunk punch happy when Hines Ward completed catches like that one. Anyway, I thought that was a nice play. I'm not going to debate your opinion.

Yes, the awareness was what it was ( ) and I'm sure every WR/TE/RB occasionally make that same mistake. It happens. In the end Moore Contributed more than JB did. It was a nice play. Could it have been a great play? Sure.

The Steelers win a game handily against Carolina and everyone believes something is different.

The steelers under Tomlin have Ben doing the same thing for years and years. Why does anyone think anything is going to change. They do not want to pass to win offensive games. They want to run ball control and rely on D. This is where Dejan is dead on. It's a type of arrogance and IMHO laziness. They are not going to situationally change to win some games now - they are going to text the young guys a way and they are simply, going to play it that way no matter what. I maintain that Mike Tomlin is a very shallow football coach - and he appears to refuse the very things that THAT TYPE of team must master. That is what kills me about him - not so much that he insists on such a simple game plan but that he appears not to comprehend that which he preaches

It reminds me of when a player takes a jumper a half step inside the arc. It drives me crazy. In some ways, I am more pissed off when they make the shot, because they took basically a 3 pt but at best can only get 2 points. Maybe the situational awareness is just a pet peeve of mine. It was a nice catch.

Maybe Tomlin forgot about him. Not like that hasn't happened before.

When Cotch left, I said that whoever replaced him would have CHEMISTRY PROBLEMS with Ben.

For awhile. Maybe quite awhile.

Nobody really gave a shit, but I knew it would come back to haunt us.

Ben has ZERO chemistry with Justin Brown and he's only at the beginning stages of creating chemistry with Lance Moore.

That is why I thought losing Cotch was going to be a big deal. Not because he was all world, but because he had developed amazing chemistry with #7.

Sure glad we saved that extra million bucks we saved by letting Cotch go, so we could pay Mike Mitchell, Marcus Gilbert and Cam Thomas.

Pouncey's comment is telling
There was more of that shrugging sentiment, too, none stronger than Pouncey’s: “Lack of discipline? What do you mean?” Told that’s what his coach just said, Pouncey came back, “Did he? You’ll have to go ask him about it.”

Sounds like Tomlin is saying one thing to the press and another to the players.
